Many False Doctrines in these End Times

There are many false doctrines within the organized church that now cause people to depend on themselves for answers, on educated men who have been trained by men, rather than by the Holy Spirit. We know this because of the adherence to the culture more than the Word of God.

Many will claim to believe in confession of sin and forgiveness when this occurs, but they rarely confess to be cleansed as God commands in His Word.

1 John 1:9 "9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Without regular confession of wrong attitudes and sinful responses, no Spiritual or emotional growth happens that leads to maturity.

Hyper-grace teaches that because God died to pay the debt of sin we owed, He no longer cares if we sin. This is absolutely ridiculous since Christ had to shed every drop of blood to pay for it, that He wouldn't care if anyone is ever delivered from it.

Christ came to deliver us from not only the stain of sin but also the bondage of it.
Romans 6:1 "1 What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase? 2 Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer?"

Calvinism teaches that no one has a choice to follow Christ which makes Christ's death on the cross foolishness. It teaches that God punishes people who do not choose Him when they were not given a choice, it is irrational and negates the character of God and much of what He said when He said;

1 "Timothy 2:3-5 "…3 This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,…"

Calvinism is named after a man; those who proclaim his doctrines follow Him and not Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:3-5 "…3 for you are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and dissension among you, are you not worldly? Are you not walking in the way of man? 4 For when one of you says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere men? 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role.…"

Performance-based Christianity is widespread, even if many would say they don't believe in it, they act as though they live their lives more concerned about how they appear to man than whether or not they obey God. We know this because they negate more of God's word than they obey and justify it as unimportant.

Most Christians today indulge in man-made holidays that God never endorsed, claiming they are about God because they assign some Christian wrapping surrounding these pagan holidays.

All of these things are distractions from walking with Christ. There are many more of these things, almost too many to mention in an article here.

Mark 7:13 "13Thus you nullify the word of God by the tradition you have handed down. And you do so in many such matters.”

Colossians 2:8 "See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ."

Galatians 5:4
"You who are trying to be justified by the law have been severed from Christ; you have fallen away from grace."

1 Timothy 4:1-3
"Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons, influenced by the hypocrisy of liars, whose consciences are seared with a hot iron. They will prohibit marriage and require abstinence from certain foods that God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth."

There are many warnings from God in the Bible that will enlighten us if we want to know the truth. If we believe God, we will find ourselves alone a lot, without companions and human support, but we will always have Christ, and He is enough. Hallelujah!!!!
