Satan has a way of spinning things that have a smidge of truth mixed with mostly lies, making what he says a whole lie. It is very diabolical and convincing.
The modern church gatherings have more harm than good being disseminated throughout the gathering, permeating every heart and dominating every conversation.
The problem of unbiblical thinking is that it is systemic, meaning it affects every nuance of the modern church.
When the foundational premise of an idea or theology is based on psychology, you can be sure much of what is being taught will be tainted with this philosophical bent.
Once a culture has been indoctrinated in the ways of psychology, it is only through prayer and a deliberate effort to read God's word the way He gave it, without societal intentions.
We are living in a day when nearly all "pastors" have been trained in seminaries that follow cultural suggestions more than they integrate God's word into their teachings.
One might say, as long as they teach Jesus Christ crucified and risen from the dead for the payment of our sins, nothing else matters. This could not be farther from the truth.
If we believe as the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ IS THE WORD, then it matters what He conveys in His Word, the Bible. To negate any part of His Word is to negate Him.
One has no right to say "I am a Bible believer" if they do not seek the Holy Spirit for the truth of His Word. If there is any opposition to Christ's teachings in the Bible, then the person in opposition is lying when they say they are "Bible believing."
Stop saying you are a Christian or you are a Bible believer if you do not seek Christ for truth.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."
