Superficial Forgiveness

Never cheapen the sacrifice of Christ through superficial and meaningless forgiveness.

http://utmost.org/it-is-finished/

It is Finished!!!!

The Law was added UNTIL THE SEED (CHRIST) would come. He has come, His job to provide salvation has been fulfilled, IT IS FINISHED.

John 19:30 "Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit."

Galatians 3:19
"Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator, until the seed (Christ) would come to whom the promise had been made."

God Will Go Through With Us

Isaiah 37:36
"Then the angel of the LORD went out and struck 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians; and when men arose early in the morning, behold, all of these were dead."

And, we think we need political leaders.....we do not need to worry about all that, God will always be there for His people, if He does not bail us out, He will go through with us.

Christ is Mercy, Islam is Cruel

This is all true, it does however have a spiritual element to it, in that it was concocted and is orchestrated by the devil himself.

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." (John 10:10-11)

Notice that every principle of the Islamic system is exactly opposite of the principles of Christ.

Christ elevates and teaches honor for women and the protection of their husbands. Islam teaches that women are to be used and abused at the will of any man. There is no protection for women, only abuse.

1 Peter 3:7 "You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered."

Christ teaches love, of which there is no concept in Islam. Love, tenderness and empathy is seen as weakness to be punished in the Islamic system.
Notice that we do not see Muslims helping others, they take but they do not give.

1 John 4:7 "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God."

1 John 4:21"And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also."

John 13:34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another."

John 15:12 "This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you."

Matthew 25:35 "'For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;"

1 John 2:10 "The one who loves his brother abides in the Light and there is no cause for stumbling in him."

Christ teaches choice to obey or not to obey, Islam uses conversion by the sword. Murder and destruction are in store for anyone who does not think like a Muslim or bow to their false god.

Christ instructs us to "teach" his principles with love toward those who are lost, that they might choose Him. Never anywhere in God's Word does He instruct us to do evil to anyone. It is through teaching and preaching that we impart the choice to the unsaved.

Titus 1:1 "Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God's elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness--"

Christ has mercy, Islam has no mercy. Because Christ is love and justice, He is all just and all merciful.

Ephesians 2:4-5 "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—"

Christ teaches repentance and forgiveness, Islam has no concept of forgiveness. Nothing can be forgiven, everything must be punished, even when unjustly accused, there is no tribunal to discover the truth, only immediate and brutal punishment, many lies told to justify cruelty to those they place under subjection to harsh rulership.

If we know the Bible, then we realize just how opposite of Christianity is to Islam. Christ is the answer for life, love and mercy, Islam is devilish and cruel.

This is an excerpt of Magda Borham's brutal message for Americans:

She clarifies what few Americans understand: Islam is not a religion. Islam is a totalitarian political ideology that rejects the basic principles of freedom and liberty protected by the U.S. Constitution. In fact, Islam is the clearest and most present danger to America’s existence.

She explains the suffering of minorities, like herself, a woman, who has lived through Egypt’s transformation into an Islamic country. She writes:

“Like so many others I have been burned by this transformation. This transformation has seen me witness and experience Islam turn my home country to ruins and its followers are now threatening to bring the same fate to your own country.

“Islam is a supremacist racist political and social ideology wrapped in a thin peel of religious rituals. It seeks domination and supremacy over all other systems and religions. Islam is worse than Nazism and fascism systems combined without any doubt.”

She warns Americans that they will suffer the same fate unless they end the senseless immigration policies that are enabling Muslims to freely invade with the intention of destroying America from within. She points to decades of failed liberal policies that have eroded American values, which she argues Muslims are using against Americans to their own detriment.

We Fight Against Demons in Prayer

Ephesians 6:12
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

Next time we feel compelled to fight against a person, it might be good to remember that the person who does evil is merely responding to the promptings of demons.

2 Thessalonians 3:2 "And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith."

It is only those who have the Holy Spirit who have the ability to resist the devil.  Non-believers have no strength, ability or inclination to resist the devil they are completely at his mercy.

James 4:7 "Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

We are either at the mercy of the devil or the mercy of Christ. Satan's mercy is deepest evil at best, his hate knows no bounds, his ruinous activities destroy everything he touches.

Christ's mercy is life and an eternal paradise with Him Who possesses perfect and lasting love.

Self Love God Satan Thrown Out of Heaven

Psychologists see the truth about narcissism as described in 2 Timothy 3:1-5, however they don't have the correct answers to why it happens or how to cure it.

God says that man kind is predisposed to these traits of self love that leads them to self worship and disregard for Him and others.

Those who are deeply narcissistic, are that way because they have not trusted Christ to cleanse them of their sin of self love.

Of all the sins that exist, this is the foundational sin that got the devil thrown out of heaven and destroys all relationships.

May those who are steeped in this sin of self love be deeply convicted, confess their sin, asking God to change them into a new creation.

It is my belief that no one who is born again will be deeply narcissistic, because when we have trusted Christ, He changes us into a new creature. When He does this we are no longer comfortable with the sin of self love.

1 John 1:9, 2 Corinthians 5:17, 2 Timothy 3

There is only one hope for someone in the condition of self love and that is to be deeply broken over this sin, asking Christ to change the heart to desire what Christ desires, total surrender to Him and a deep love of others.

Matthew 22:36-40
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the great and [a]foremost commandment. 39 The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”

Do Not Pamper A Wicked Man

Someone who uses the excuse that "I am not perfect", is doing two things, first they are saying they don't care that they are offending God and secondly they have no intention of seeking God to change them. When a believer is confronted with bad or sinful attitudes, an authentic believer will be ashamed, confess and desire to go on to be better with God's help.

This attitude of confession and turning from sin, is what will sustain them in the future, preventing them from repeating the same sin over and over. When someone will not confess their sin, they are not repentant, their desire is to be forgiven without ever changing their behavior.

We live in a culture that rewards the evil person and punishes the righteous. There have been times when I have rebuked a believer for a wrong action or attitude and their response was rage and retaliation. Many believers experience this frequently, which is the reason they often hold back advice, they expect others to rage and exact revenge when they point out a flaw in need of repair.

Isaiah 26:10 "Though the wicked is shown favor, He does not learn righteousness; He deals unjustly in the land of uprightness, And does not perceive the majesty of the Lord."

The reason so many people believe that we should bless a wicked man, is because our culture has taught for the past 50 years they Paganistic and psychological idea that evil people do evil because they have had some trauma in their life, that they are basically good and no one is truly evil. This is patently wrong, the Bible teaches that the heart of man is wicked and can only be different when man trusts Christ.

This excuse of past trauma does not fly in light of Biblical teaching for many reasons, but we only need one reason, that is that Adam and Eve had the perfect environment with the perfect parent, the Father in heaven, for their example and companionship and they still chose to disobey, lie about it and blame others for their sin.

Genesis 3:8-13 "8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
9 But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?”
10 And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.”
11 He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?”
12 The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.”
13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"

The verses that are often used to justify blessing an evil man are taken out of context as a mandate to go out of our way to give good things to evil men, when we do this, we solidify and justify the evil in a man's heart. The heart of man does not change because we gave someone something they want, it only changes when they see their own evil heart, desire to be changed by Christ and then He comes into man to change their heart.

An evil man can act and appear as though he has changed, when nothing has in his heart, just to keep the "blessing" coming. It is the heart man that needs the change not the outer appearance. The best blessing we can give a evil man is to show him that he is evil, tell him the remedy, the Gospel and support him when he has become broken over his sinfulness.

Getting a wicked man to like us does not help him come to the Lord, it only lets him feel comfortable in his sin.

Many times I have experienced people who grow deeper into their heart of wickedness because there were no consequences for their sinful behavior. It is when we come to the end of ourselves that we see that all our evil didn't bring us anything but misery. To continue to pamper a wicked man is to help him remain in his sin, AND THIS IS NOT LOVING!

Of course I am not saying we should treat people in a mean way, that doesn't work either. We are to handle their evil with appropriate Biblical consequences, speak truth and if they will not listen or learn then we are to remove ourselves and allow the consequences from God to teach them.

Remaining friends with a wicked man who refuses to repent, is only becoming a part of their evil, a help to their evil lifestyle.

Acts 17:30 "The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,"

John 8:24 "I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins.”

Psalm 37:1 "Of David. Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers!

Psalm 37:1-40 "Of David. Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. ..."

2 Thessalonians 3:2 "And that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For not all have faith."

Acts 3:19 "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out,"

John 14:15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

Romans 13:4 "For he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer."

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Psalm 73:1-28 "A Psalm of Asaph. Truly God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled, my steps had nearly slipped. For I was envious of the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For they have no pangs until death; their bodies are fat and sleek. They are not in trouble as others are; they are not stricken like the rest of mankind."

Hebrews 13:6 "So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”

1 Thessalonians 5:22 "Abstain from every form of evil."

Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,"

Isaiah 1:16-17 "Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause."

1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"

The remedy for a wicked man is to hear the Gospel, repent of his sinfulness and trust Christ. When this is done in truth and sincerity, then the man will become born again and Christ will begin to work miracles in his heart. He changes the heart of stone and evil into a heart of flesh and righteousness. When someone becomes born again they don't have to work at hating sin, they will take on the new nature of Christ by His hand and never want to return to the old man.

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."

Ephesians 2:10 "10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
