Believers Coming to the Internet to Speak about Christ

I am noticing here on facebook that strong dedicated believers are speaking about many things.

Some about the end times we are living in, some about the character of the people of the end times. Some are writing about heaven and hell to warn about what is coming for the believer and the non-believer.

Many are speaking of their life with Christ as they move through this world of uncertainty. Others are exposing the foolishness in the media and politics.

One thing is for sure, Christ is moving in all believers to touch upon the subject He wants them to write about. I am impressed with the fact that no subject is excluded, all things are being exposed for what they are, either good or bad because of the believer who relates everything to the Bible.

The believers in Christ are diverse in their gifts and talents, they all contribute, they all have something to say of value. We don't all write about the same things but all the things we write about pertain to God's Word and His plan.

I love that believers have come out of their safe space as they are led by God to do their part here on facebook. I for one appreciate every one of them. We do not always agree but we are seeking to glorify God for the world to see. We are all learning and growing, we are a family.

"I'm so glad I'm a part of the family of God." Hallelujah!

1 John 3:1-2
"3 See [a]how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is."

Ephesians 3:14-19
"14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom [a]every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the [b]saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God."

Wishing blessings on all my brothers and sisters that dwell on facebook and the rest of the internet.

Refuse to be Offended

Apologies Required for Disrespecting Elders

Your apologies need to be as loud as your disrespects were💯🙌

Tough Love is Better than Flattery

God is a God of tough love, because soft often does not work on most people. Mankind is stubborn, we don't move much when things are easy.

Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"

Chastisement comes in many forms, often with life long consequences for those who have a tendency to forget the problems within themselves.

God is not interested so much with our outer activities as He is with our inner character. It is the character of the man that is judged not how many good deeds he does.

Philippians 4:8
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."

Whatever is in our heart, the center of our character is what will come out in actions. Even if we are able to hide from people for a time, eventually the real us sneaks out to be exposed.

AND, we can hide from people for a time but we can never hide from God.

Galatians 5:22-23
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

Rebelliousness is Discovered in Responses to Correction

Outwardly self righteous and inwardly rebellious. We meet these people all the time. We know them when they rage at correction.

Idolatry is not Only Bowing to a Statue, It is in the Heart

INTELLECTUAL IDOLATRY IS WHEN PEOPLE WORSHIP THEIR OWN OPINION, ABOVE GOD'S HOLY WORD.

THERE ARE MANY IDOLATERS!
