The Conspiracies are the Conspiracies

Making people fearful is the job of the devil.

There are so many conspiracy theories out there based on scanty information and much of it if false science.

I remember when people were worried about Y2K as though the world was going to come to a roaring halt because of the computer crashes.

This never made sense to me because I am simple-minded and thought that we would just go back to the old ways until it was all figured out.

Guess what, nothing happened and my husband who is a scientist said it was all silly and that it would be figured out when it is needed. Guess what again, it was figured out. The world carried on without a pause into the year 2000.

I don't know how much of these theories are true but one thing for sure, there is nothing we can do about what is going to happen.

Spending too much time on all these conspiracy theories will cause a famine of the word of God. It will cause unnecessary fear as well as a lack of faith that God will be with us no matter what He chooses for us to endure.

People were afraid of the telephone wires when the telephone first came out. They were invented in 1854. Here we are more than 165 years later, the phone wires have not harmed anyone. They have even progressed to cell phones without wires, now people are worried about the radiation from the 5G towers just like they worried about the telephone wires of the past.

Every new technology is feared by disinformation and lack of knowledge.

There is radiation in everything, our bodies have it, our furniture has it, it is in everything. One can get more radiation from standing next to a mountain than from sleeping with their spouse.

The nuclear power plant in our region was feared by some people when there was no more radiation emanating from it than there was from the trees in the forest.

Even when Three Mile Island failed it did not release radiation into the environment. All the safety back up systems, about sixteen of them, kicked in and not one member of the public was harmed.

There was harm in the Chernobyl accident because they did not have containment around the power plants in Russia as we do here in the United States.

If you believe we are entering the end times without the possibility that any of us can do anything to divert what is coming, then we must also have the faith to carry on in this world until Christ takes us out.

Nothing will happen to a born again believer that God has not ordained to happen. Also, our confidence in Christ in these times of uncertainty will show the world around us that our trust is not in man, not in technology and not in ourselves, but in Christ alone.

It's good to see the things that are happening and call them what they are because they are prophesy happening. There is no problem in watching and exposing, but the problem comes when we spend far more time on these things than we do on the things of God.

There is so much instruction in the Word that we need to have to grow in holiness and to become bold in sharing the gospel. The more time we spend on things of the Lord the less time to indulge in the conspiracies that are out there. I am aware that much more is going on than we know about or can know about, and it can be interesting at times. However, so many things we have heard on the internet are not true, they sound very scientific but are not accurate.

My husband is a godly man and a scientist, I believe him when he tells me not to worry about something.

The anti-nukes for years told lies about the nuclear power plants' ability to blow up like a bomb, none of it was true. They sounded so convincing to those who were not scientifically minded that many were convinced. These plants are not made like a bomb, they don't have the necessary components to be like a bomb. But the anti-nukes had people believing with their false science that the plants could blow up.

This is why I take with a grain of salt the pseudo-science that is constantly on the internet proclaiming danger everywhere. My husband is a former nuclear engineer having worked in the industry for most of his life, he knows the science in the new technologies and is able to separate fact from fiction. Most of the fear out there is based on fiction and hype.

Those who were caught up in the Y2K scare would not believe us when we said there is no danger, nothing will happen. And it didn't.

1 Chronicles 16:11
"Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!"

Honor God by Remaining at Home!

The question arose; "should we defy the government and attend the gatherings in the church buildings or should we obey the government and remain at home?

I have no problem with staying at home to worship because God's church is the people who love Him. We were never told to build the buildings for many people to meet at one time. The first-century church met in homes.

Born again believers can worship and pray in their homes. They have no need for a building. Also, the early church didn't have a one-man pastor who was paid a salary. Most of what we do today in the gatherings are not Biblical.

We are told to obey the government when the government is attempting to protect the people.

Romans 13:1-7 "13 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except [b]from God, and those which exist are established by God.
2 Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God, and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.
3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same;
4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.
5 Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake.
6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
7 Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor."

We are a witness to the community that we care about them. That we do not stop worshiping but that we don't jeopardize the health of others in the process.

Those who defy the government merely to appear like martyrs are showing off.

The apostles didn't try to escape jail they praised God and sang in that jail. It was God Who let them out when He decided.

Jesus didn't escape the Romans when they crucified Him. The apostles didn't escape when they were stoned or crucified.

I am convinced that God closed the apostate churches because they were an abomination.

Praise, worship and pray in your homes with your families. If you cannot do it there then what you do in a building gathered by many people is phony.

The Law was Fulfilled!

Jesus didn't do away with the Law, He fulfilled it. That means that no one can be saved by following it. No one was ever saved by following it. However, when we become born again the "Law Giver" Jesus Christ comes to live in us. We obey it not by compulsion but because we love it.

No one who is born again has to be told not to steal because they don't want to. No born again believer needs to be told not to lie because they don't want to. If they fail temporarily and lie they feel convicted and confess to be cleansed.

1 John 1:9 "9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

The difference between the Law and Grace is that someone who is born again doesn't need the Law the principles of it become a part of them. Born again believers who come in contact with unbelievers convict those unsaved without even saying a word. The Holy Spirit, the "Law Giver" convicts the unsaved of their sinfulness.

Also, The Law never did save anyone, no one could follow it even if they thought they did. The Law was given to show people their sinfulness. That's what happens when born again believers come in contact with unbelievers. They feel strange around us but don't know why, its the Holy Spirit they are sensing.

John 3:5-6
"5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."

2 John 1:9-11
"Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works."

Those who fight and argue against the Word of God when it is presented, using human wisdom to defend their sin, are not born again.

Whom Do You Trust?

Those who are trusting in themselves to keep themselves saved have not trusted Christ.

If Christ did not have the power to keep His children sealed in the Holy Spirit then His death on the cross was foolishness and He lied to us when He said;

Ephesians 1:12-14 "12 in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, would be for the praise of His glory. 13 And in Him, having heard and believed the word of truth— the gospel of your salvation— you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is the pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession, to the praise of His glory.…"

God never breaks a promise to those who belong to Him.

Since mankind is desperately wicked as God said we were, then we have no power to keep ourselves in the will of God. He must keep us after we are born again.

If we didn't have the power to die for our own sins, then we don't have the power to be good either. Only Christ had the power to die for the sins of others. Only God has the power to keep His children in His care.

There is no phrase in the Bible that says; "we must do our part too." Nor is there a phrase "He doesn't leave us but we can walk away from Him." This is heretical thinking and comes from scripture taken out of context. All false religions place the onus of salvation on the desperately wicked human being.

When we become born again Christ gives us what we asked for, that is to be cleansed by Him. We did not ask for the power to be able to save ourselves. We asked for Him to save us. When we ask for God to work His will in us, we are not asking Him to give us the power to have our own will.

Romans 12:2
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

According to God's Word, we are to ask to be confirmed. We dare not ask for the power to transform ourselves but we ask Him to transform us. How can a desperately wicked human transform himself into anything good, we cannot!

If we cannot transform ourselves, make ourselves into a completely different spirit, from a spirit of wickedness to a spirit of holiness, then we know we cannot be good enough to save ourselves or to keep ourselves, it is not possible.

God wants all the glory all the time. He does not want us to take credit for our own transformation nor does He want us to boast of anything within ourselves.

John 7:17
"If anyone's will is to do God's will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority."

Philippians 4:13
'I can do all things through HIM who strengthens me."

Him Who strengthens me, Him Who changes and transforms me.

The transforming is from God, the teaching is from God, the actions and everything else that is good is from God, nothing from us.

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

God's plans, His will!!!! Nothing in the Bible speaks about man's will and plans except in terms of foolishness.

Here is the condition of a man who depends on his own righteousness:

Ecclesiastes 10:13
"The beginning of the words of his mouth [is] foolishness: and the end of his talk [is] mischievous madness."

Can a man who is a fool full of madness do anything good to save himself? NO, and this is the condition of every man or woman who has not trusted Christ.

There are many "nice" unsaved people in the world but who walk in much foolishness because they cannot think any other way than with their fallen minds. They determine things to be good that are bad and things that are bad to be good.

After we are born again we cannot think any other way than with the mind of Christ. Our mind has been changed, there will be temptations from the devil because we are in this body of flesh still. However, we have the power of Christ in us to resist the temptations. If we ignore the Holy Spirit and fall then we have the power to confess and be cleansed to start again in obedience.

1 John 2:1-2 "1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father— Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.…"

It is only Christ Who can change the heart of a man who has trusted in Him. Even after someone becomes born again, their only righteous thoughts are those imparted to them by Christ.

When Christ transforms us it is He Who does that transforming. We cannot transform ourselves.

This is why anyone who remains sinful and willful without a changed heart but claims to be a Christian is lying, God never changed them because they never trusted Christ. They remain dedicated to making themselves into "self-righteousness" completely dependent on their own fallen flesh and awful proud of it.

Luke 18:9-14
The Pharisee and the Publican
9 And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt:
10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
11 The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
12 I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’
13 But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’
14 I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

No man can trust in himself and Christ at the same time. In order to trust in Christ, we must stop trusting in ourselves.

Notice in the account of the Pharisee and the Publican, the Pharisee was not praying to God, He was praying to himself. After all, he was the god in his own life.

WE see this all the time in politics now, when unbelievers say; "our prayers are with you", they are speaking of their own words having power, they are praying to themselves. Do not be fooled by this. Just because someone says they pray does not make them born again.

The Pharisee would learn nothing and be nothing good because he was his own god. The only thing the Pharisee accomplished was to continually solidify in His own mind that he didn't need God because he was a god unto himself. These Pharisees were often harsh and mean to those they thought didn't measure up with their human laws added to God's word.

The publican, however, sought God for his righteousness. He knew nothing of himself would do. Only that which Christ did in him would matter.

Hebrews 13:20-21
"20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,
21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen."

Notice these words, they are important!!!!:

"Lord Jesus the Great Shepherd of the sheep equip you with every good for doing His will." There it is "for doing His will. "

Also;

"and may he work in us what is pleasing to Him.

We are not doing these things in and of ourselves, He is doing them in us. AND, He gets all the glory.

Prosperity preachers are teaching the opposite of what God teaches. They are telling people to demand their own will from God. This teaching is devilish full of pride and self-worship.

Romans 11:36
"For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen."

Those who are self-righteous having trusted in themselves will be rejected by God at the judgment. Here is what God says to them:

Matthew 7:21-23 "
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [a]miracles?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

What is the will of the Father? To trust in Christ, allowing Him to sanctify us for the entire rest of our lives on earth. Then He will take us home to Him when He wills in His time.

So many are working so hard to produce nothing! While the born again believer is trusting Christ for each day.

The Quarantine that can Cleanse Hearts

This quarantine is a test for the authentic born again believers.

Do they even know how to pray alone at home? Can they worship without a hireling to guide them?

Just a thought!

Everything Has a Purpose for the Born Again Believer

Good things that are happening because of the virus

1. Bars closed
2. Apostate churches have ceased their gathering
3. Movie theaters closed
4. Fairs and Festivals that are full of debauchery are suspended
5. Play activities that divert from Christ.
6. Secular teachers not in those government schools indoctrinating the children
7. No Easter bunnies and eggs to detract from Christ.
8. Some abortion clinics closed, all should be!
9. Children home with their parents
10. Sadness causing some to turn to Christ for their help

Perhaps you could think of other good things that are happening because of the Virus.

All things have a purpose for born again believers and our strength comes from Christ in us!

Numbers 6:24-26

24 The Lord bless you, and keep you;

25 The Lord make His face shine on you,
And be gracious to you;

26 The Lord lift up His countenance on you,
And give you peace.’
