What is Happening in Australia Lockdown Protests? | An Aussie Christian ...

Looking Up Do Not Look Around

The devil is causing all kinds of fear and fighting for no good reason, over everything.
1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."

God said; "when you see these things happening, look up for your redemption draws near."
Luke 21:27-28 "…27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
Notice God never said, "look all around, get angry at all you see and judge and upset your brothers and sisters."
God never said to look around raking up muck to be angry about so we can give the devil place to distract the believers from Christ and further cause fear in unbelievers. It was the devil placing these things in the minds of those who are not focused on Christ.
We ought to be encouraging one another in the body of Christ and allowing the unbelievers to see our steadiness and lack of worry as we trust in Christ.
Too many Christians are falling into the trap of continual fear and anger sending a wrong message about the Christian walk.
1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 "…17 After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words."
Please brothers and sisters; LOOK UP, we are going home soon!!!!!

His Ways are Higher Than Our Ways

I remember Christians looked the silliest right before the turn of the Millennium. They ran around warning people to stock up for all the disasters that were coming because of the Millennium bug. I didn't buy into it and neither did my husband. But nearly everyone else we knew who were Christians were frightened and worried.
My husband said it was silly, as a scientist knowing how these things work, he said there is going to be no problem. It didn't make sense to me either that there would be a problem, and yet, he could not convince those who were fearful.
Nothing happened just as my husband said, but it was interesting that all the people who bought into it never came back to say; "I was wrong." Isn't that interesting?
Those who continually boast of their personal knowledge about this virus only have what others have told them on the internet who they do not personally know.
The doctors say, just like the regular flu shot the vaccine helps so that if someone gets the virus the symptoms are much less severe.
I know of a doctor who treats the Covid patients, he says that the ones who end up in ICU and the ones that die are not vaccinated. The ones that are vaccinated do not have to be hospitalized and their symptoms are far less severe.
I am more likely to believe a doctor who deals with it every day whom I know, than the internet people who claim to be doctors. I have no idea who those people are but their opinion means nothing to me if I do not know them. I see far too many people seeking the internet for this matter than are seeking God.
Much of the disinformation on this matter is dealing with half truths without knowing all the facts.
Just as people who can get the flu even though they have had the flu shot, will experience far fewer symptoms as well as less severe, so I believe is this vaccine we are dealing with right now.
Of course, we can probably find people who have had reactions to the vaccine, just as we can find people who are allergic to peanut butter because some people can die from eating it. Do we go on a campaign to outlaw peanut butter?
I also, sadly, see many Christians treating vaccinated people as though they are stupid. This is ungodly considering that most of the information people are getting is from internet videos without proof of who these people are and whether or not they are telling the truth.
The deception on both sides is huge.
Believers need to stop running around warning people of something they know little to nothing about based on their personal prejudices toward political entities.
What should believers be doing? The answer is simple really, that is to focus on Christ, don't rush to others to find the answers rush to Christ.
It is possible and I believe likely that God would tell one person to get the vaccine and another not to, because His ways are higher than our ways, we do not know His purposes for each individual. Nor do we know each person's physiology.
Isaiah 55:8-9
8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts."

Pray for the Pretender!

Pray for those who "became a Christian" because their family was or because they wanted to marry someone. Often these people joined the club because they wanted to be a part of something with someone else but were not transformed by God.

We have many pretenders in the church who become frightened by events in their life or the way the world seems to be falling apart but have no interest in being changed by Christ.

These people see "becoming a Christian" as a safety measure in case there is a real God up there somewhere they can appeal to when trials come. They become Christians too because there is someone they wanted and could not have unless they became a Christian.

Those who have not confessed their sinfulness in grief over it will never be born again. They use God as a safety measure not seeing Him as a Holy God Who deserves worship. They do not desire to be changed by Him into a new creation. They merely wish to be seen by others as good people with the added assurance of a safe life.

When someone becomes born again they no longer enjoy the sin they used to love. They no longer think the same way they thought before. One of the clues of a pretender is their embarrassment at the mention of Jesus Christ. They have nothing to say concerning Him. Very little has changed in their attitudes or actions except for verbiage. Often they change some things to be accepted but return to those things after they have been accepted by others. These people attend church every week while speaking only of their own life, their job, their fun, and their accomplishments without ever mentioning Christ.

Then there are those who have learned the lingo of the Christian community, they will use some of the verbiage as they twist the scriptures to fit their personal desired beliefs, still worldly and still self-focused. These people have no interest in the gospel to help others become born again. In fact, in most situations, these people could not repeat the true gospel to anyone because they do not understand it themselves.

These pretenders avoid those who speak of Christ often because they are not interested. They have everything to say about current events but little to say about Christ.

1 Timothy 4:1
"Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,"

Hebrews 3:12
"Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God."

Those who fall away are those who have never been born again. They were never changed by Christ because they had no interest in Him, obeying Him, or seeking Him for their lives. They do not worship, they do not have faith and they do not enjoy discussions about Him.

Luke 8:13
"And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away."

Just like Judas, the pretenders have heard the gospel, have been with people who lived for Christ and learned some things to say to fit into the group, but they have never been changed by Christ and Christ does not dwell in them. Christ will not change or dwell in anyone who merely wants His perks but does not want to be changed by Him.

These pretenders have tasted of the fruit by hearing the gospel and spending time with saved people but were never changed themselves because their heart was based on self-worship and a desire to use God instead of being used by Him. These are prideful, self-righteous people full of greed for pleasure, money and everything else that will enhance their own life experience.

These pretenders depend more on their own thinking than that of the mind of Christ. In fact, when things get tough their go-to mindset is based on their own minds almost entirely, often using scripture to justify their desired beliefs.

If they are not sure about something they go to their favorite "experts" instead of prayer to seek Christ. The ideas of men loom high on their priority list, above Christ, He ends up at the bottom of the list when no one else has the answers or solutions.

We see this in many Christians today, they seek out the advice of those who will say what they wish to hear, also based on their pride, rather than seeking Christ.

They often accuse others of lack of faith for not doing things their way, when they are the ones whose faith is in themselves and their experts. These people do not listen to anything from anyone unless it is what they wish to hear.

Pretenders are often given to gossip, false information as well as anything that will flatter and enhance their pride.

Matthew 24:24 "For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

These pretenders will believe the false stories and gossip without any prayer. They do not seek Christ, they seek only their desired beliefs that elevate their personal pride. There is much of this in the church today. Because of these self-righteous and foolish people we see continual in-fighting.

Satan loves this in-fighting, he caused it and feeds it through continual disinformation and misinformation. Because the prideful person cannot admit they may not know everything and they do not walk by faith they dig in their heels and refuse to pray about the error they are sucking into their minds every day.

My advice based on God's Word is this:

1 John 2:19
"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us."

2 Timothy 4:3
"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,"

Romans 16:17-18 "17 Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Turn away from them. 18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery, they deceive the hearts of the naive.…"

When you discern through the Holy Spirit that someone is divisive and contentious, avoid them, they will be continually causing unnecessary problems. Those who are with the divisive person must also be avoided until the day they come to you admitting their divisiveness wanting to repent and change their ways.

Let the Holy Spirit guide as you encounter these people, some may be open to hearing a correction, others may not, which is the reason we must wait on God and allow them to approach us.

God Put Those Dictators There!!!

God places the dictators in power often to punish the proud who will not obey God. This nation pridefully shakes its fist in the air demanding more blessing and continued freedom when the churches and the authorities have negated His every Word. Even those who say they are Christians refuse to obey God in more ways than they obey Him, and yet they will say they believe the Bible. When you tell them they are disobeying the Bible and God, they will rage and exclude you for telling the truth.
Galatians 4:16-17 "16 Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth? 17Those people are zealous for you, but not in a good way. Instead, they want to isolate you from us, so that you may be zealous for them."
And, some think we deserve continued blessing and safety with good leaders? This is a joke as well as deeply disturbing.
Daniel 2:20-21 "“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. 21 He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. "
Just because we desire good leadership does not mean God gives it. I accept His will because I see how evil this country has become and the entire world.
Romans 13:1
"Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God."
Next time anyone is complaining about what is going on in government perhaps they ought to take a look at their level of obedience to Christ and His Word. God will not continue to bless a nation when it refuses to repent and confess its own sins.
Shaking our fists in the air demanding blessing from God is utterly ridiculous and rebellious. Sort of like a child screaming and demanding something from a parent. A good parent will not give the thing the child wants merely because he is demanding disrespectfully.
We ought to be proclaiming repentance followed by obedience rather than shouting silly things like "God bless America."
He already blessed us and we spit in His face for it.

The Sequoia Testifies to God!

For those of you who believe in evolution in which everything started by a big bang, that is beginning by the destruction of a rock that had no life, here is what I have to say about that.
The sequoia tree that grows in our region:
and its seeds. Imagine a tree this large coming from a seed that small that every one of them grows the same, "each after it's own kind?!!!
This is a masterful design by the amazing and wonderful God. Everything has a designer, God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit created these trees and everyone and everything else that grows on this earth.
It is insanity to believe all this began with an explosion. Explosions do not create they destroy.
God created with the breath of His mouth these wonderful trees and the man who stands below them.
Romans 1:20 "For from the creation of the world the invisible things of Him are clearly seen, being understood through the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse."
Isaiah 42:5
Thus says God the Lord,
Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread out the earth and its offspring,
Who gives breath to the people on it
And spirit to those who walk in it,
Psalm 33:6-12 "By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And by the breath of His mouth all their lights.
7 He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap;
He puts the depths in storehouses.
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord;
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
9 For He spoke, and it was done;
He commanded, and it stood firm.
10 The Lord nullifies the plan of nations;
He frustrates the plans of peoples.
11 The plan of the Lord stands forever,
The plans of His heart from generation to generation.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen for His own inheritance."
