I was mocked and demeaned by Christians when I said that there is no command in scripture to vote for our leaders, meaning we are free to choose to vote or not to vote.

Here's the thing; Our country is so wicked right now that "even the elect are being fooled" about everything. They are judging people as Christians who are not and have no life testimony of having been changed by Christ into a new creation. They equate "conservatism" with Christianity.

Many of the people I know who attend church every week become angry when they are challenged to obey the Word of God just as God told it. They judge others based on superficial things God never commanded and expect us to honor their ideas rather than seeking Christ for the truth.

I hear prominent preachers chastising the people to vote as though it were a command of God when it is not. If we are a remnant, and I know that we are, what makes these preachers think we can put our thumb on the scales and make a difference causing people to do what is right.

When God said we are to be salt and light He didn't mean make unsaved people follow God's principles, He meant to bring the gospel to the unsaved. We are not about making unsaved people look like good people we are to encourage them to become born again so they will "Be" what God will make them if they trust in Christ.

Jermiah 11:13-15 "…13 Your gods are indeed as numerous as your cities, O Judah; the altars of shame you have set up—the altars to burn incense to Baal—are as many as the streets of Jerusalem.’ 14 As for you, do not pray for these people. Do not raise up a cry or a prayer on their behalf, for I will not be listening when they call out to Me in their time of disaster. 15 What right has My beloved in My house, having carried out so many evil schemes? Can consecrated meat avert your doom, so that you can rejoice?…"

We have a statue of a false god hovering over this country in New York Harbor that most "Christians" think is a simple of liberty but that is really a worship of freedom instead of God. It was given to us by a pagan nation, France. It is the Roman goddess Libertas.

Most Christians in this country have been brainwashed to believe we are a Christian nation, but the brand of it is cultural, not godly.

We know the god in most hearts is not the God of the Bible but their own desires, their own freedom, their love of self.

No one who is born-again would be angry when scripture is quoted to prove the truth, and yet I see this all the time among churchgoers. At the very least they ignore the truth teller completely and even exclude them in subtle ways to keep them from having influence.

We are a remnant in our country and in the world, we have no political power but we are not called to that, we are called to speak the gospel and encourage those who have become born again to follow the Words of Christ. He is the Word, the Bible is His instruction book to us, to ignore it is to ignore Him. To change what He says is to demean Him.

John 20:30-31

"30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

John 1:1

"1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Jesus Christ is the Word, He is the essence of His Own Word.

Once again I write; to ignore the word of God is to ignore Christ.

Narcissists are Controlled by the Evil One

Narcissists are not aware of how they hurt others because they have been trained by demons that what they are doing is good.

They think their rudeness and demeaning actions are justified even if they cannot verbalize why they do what they are doing. They even deny the way they are because the father of lies is their father.

When we understand where the personal attacks are coming from and that is not about us at all we can feel sorry for those who are under the spell of the devil.

1 John 5:18-20 "…18 We know that anyone born of God does not keep on sinning; the One who was born of God protects him, and the evil one cannot touch him. 19 We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one. 20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.…"

Those of us who love the Lord with all our hearts cannot understand why someone would enjoy battering emotionally and spiritually another human being. We can only know who is the author of it and his purpose is to cause frustration in us so that we react giving the narcissist an excuse for their continual attempts at derailling our walk with Christ.

Remember Christ lives in us and no one can overpower Him or us.

Luke 4:6

"I will give You authority over all these kingdoms and all their glory," he said. "For it has been relinquished to me, and I can give it to anyone I wish."

John 12:31

"Now judgment is upon this world; now the prince of this world will be cast out."

John 17:15

"I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one."

Everything the devil throws at us is thwarted by Jesus Christ Who lives in us and everything we encounter brings strength and growth in us.

James 1:2-18 "2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,

3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

7 For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

We do not have to fear the attacks of the devil because Christ has our backs every day and all day long.

No One Hated Their Own Flesh

No one hated his own flesh according to God.

Ephesians 5:29 "29 Indeed, no one ever hated his own body, but he nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church."

Psychology says that people who do harm to themselves hate themselves. The reality is that people who do harm to themselves are motivated by anger at God Who created them.

I have good examples of this, the adopted children who were accepted into a family at an older age but did not feel grateful. These people were angry that the adoptive parents were a part of the system that took them away from their natural parents.

Instead of accepting the new parents and desiring to learn good things from them, they fought against every teaching and every good example they saw in a stance of revenge.

Because of this unfounded revenge the older adopted children chose to do things deliberately hurtful to themselves knowing the adoptive parents would be grieved by it.

I have seen adoptive children destroy their own lives in revenge on the adoptive parents. This is what people who seek to harm themselves when they are deeply angry, they want to hear the heart of God Who created them.

Irrational anger based on false thinking never thinks clearly about the truth but rather it devises false reasons to be angry to torment those who helped them.

We saw this when Christ went to the cross. He died to pay the penalty for our sinful nature, even healing people and saving their souls from hell but their response was to murder Him. Christ did only good every moment of His life here on earth and yet the response of most people was to reject Him, mock Him, and even kill Him.

There are many people I have met who are rebellious so much so that when they are given the truth that might help them, they rage and dig in their heels to go the opposite way.

So many people in the churches are choosing to go their own way while claiming they believe in Christ. However, they don't realize that authentic belief is to do what God wants, never to ingore His word or change it to fit our own desires. Just saying something means nothing, "faith and works go together", we cannot claim to have faith in Christ while ignoring or changing His Word.

John 14:15. "This passage means that following Christ's commandments is both a sign and a test of love for him. The "commands" include all of Jesus' words and teachings, which are God the Father's words." Got Questions

Those who rage against the truth while attending church gatherings are not born again, they are pretenders.

Believing Words Will Cause Distruction

Even though the proof of God's greatness and His love was all around her, Eve still believed the words of the devil over the proof of God's love.

In these last days people are becoming more and more like this, choosing to believe words without any evidence.

I have seen parents say; "love ya" as a child is rushing out the door to spend time with their wicked friends. Without any challenge or instruction from the parents, the child is left to himself without help or guidance. The child knows this parent doesn't love them even though they say the words, because the parent foolishly cares more about the child liking them than they do about what might happen to them when they choose the wrong friends.

I remember years ago my husband attended a Boy Scout meeting for parents about what was going on in that club. He sat next to a man who was complaining about his son doing things he shouldn't do. My husband finally said to him, "why don't you say no to him?" The response of the father was astounding, he said; "you mean I can do that?" as though he had never heard of that before.

Our entire culture as a whole is frightened to make rules for their children concerned about losing the love of their children. They don't realize that children feel unloved and unprotected when the parent is taking their orders from the children.

Children don't feel loved or protected when there are no rules and sadly they turn into adults who are afraid to instruct or make boundaries for their own children. There is nothing more disgusting than a man who bows to the commands of a child.

Then there is the problem with remarriage in which the step-parent has no say over the children, while the new spouse almost always gets on the side of the child against the step-parent. I can not count the number of times I have heard a father say; "I have no influence with my step-children because they refuse to consider that I am their parent." And, the new spouse does not support the step-father, they fight with him in defense of their child.

The families of America are a train wreck but because they love their sin they refuse to admit how terrible it really is for children and the culture in general. Rather than repent and pray for strength to correct what is wrong they defend their sin and continue down the track to derailment.

Children are bossing their parents in our culture and the parents are alright with it because the parents are lazy. They would rather have a few minutes of peace than battle a rebellious child to make real peace in their homes. So these parents live in continual arguing and disrespect.

Peace is not made by ignoring problems, peace is accomplished by doing what is necessary to bring the family back to compliance with God's Word.

Isaiah 3:4-5 "And I will make mere boys their leaders,

And mischievous children will rule over them,

5 And the people will be oppressed,

Each one by another, and each one by his neighbor;

The youth will assault the elder,

And the contemptible person will assault the one honored.'"

When we see the family dynamics at play in our country we have to realize the country is going to fall because the family is so unstable.

Because the family is unstable so goes every other thing within the culture.

Another aspect of this dying nation is the lack of respect adult children are demonstrating toward their parents. They have no honor and no respect but think they do because they are not physically assaulting them, however they are verbally, emotionally and spiritually assaulting them frequently as they elevate themselves to superior status while thinking they have a good excuse to abuse their parents.

I don't know the author of the following passage but it is applicable to this article.

It was seen as an offense against God, the parents' reputation, and society's culture. In some cases, dishonoring parents could even result in the death penalty.

In the Bible, God repeatedly tells children to honor their parents with obedience and loving hearts. Some ways children dishonor their parents include: Failing to obey them, Cursing them out, Speaking evil of them, and Demeaning or belittling their leadership and decision making."

Children who do not honor their parents or the parents of their spouses will not honor anyone else either, they have a spirit and heart mentality of dishonor about everything and everyone.
