God is True and Every Man a Liar

Religious leaders today are no different from those of Jesus' day. They hated that Christ disrupted their "religion" and the power over others it gave them.

Religious leaders who have devised a status quo that God never gave did it to control the people. They thought if they could force the people through intimidation to obey God, they would be able to proclaim the followers "Christian."

The truth is no one becomes a Christian or obedient to Christ because someone else intimidated them. If they did come this way, they never became born again
Instead of just bringing the gospel and leaving the result to the Holy Spirit, they trusted in their own message and trickery. They never trusted the Holy Spirit, or they never would have used manipulation and intimidation to control others. They could have preached the truth and left the rest to God.

The modern day preacher doesn't want each person following the Holy Spirit because it would take the power out of the hands of the preachers and placed on the Holy Spirit.

Many years ago, a young preacher was counseled by his Baptist mentors to never allow anyone else in "his" pulpit. Why? Because in the minds of these religious leaders, that was where the power over others existed, elevated above others with all the pews facing forward in a form of worship of the man on that stage.

When a man is the focus in the Christian gathering, then Christ cannot be the focus.
When someone looks to a man, any man, even their husband, as their "mediator" between them and God, they have an idol.

1 Timothy 2:5-6 " 5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself as a ransom for all—the testimony that was given at just the right time."

No man gave himself a ransom for us all; only Jesus Christ did that, and He lives in all born-again believers who need no other mediator or teacher.

When any man attempts to play the mediator between God and us we can politely decline to follow him and even rebuke him for his attempts to usurp the Holy Spirit in us.

Hebrews 8:6 "Now, however, Jesus has received a much more excellent ministry, just as the covenant He mediates is better and is founded on better promises."

Galatians 3:20 "A mediator is unnecessary, however, for only one party; but God is one."

God is true and every man a liar! Romans 3:4

They Won's Listen But We Can Be Safe

Jeremiah 6:10 "To whom can I give this warning? Who will listen to me? Look, their ears are closed, so they cannot hear. See, the word of the LORD has become offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it."

This is our world today, most people now resist instruction in righteousness. Most "Christians" are afraid to speak openly about Jesus Christ because they fear losing family and friends.

Proverbs 29:25-26 "25 The fear of man is a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is set securely on high. 26 Many seek the ruler’s favor, but a man receives justice from the LORD."

We live in an age in which there is a "form of religion" we call Christianity, based more on feelings and desired beliefs than on the Bible. It is a form of Christianity liberally peppered with paganism and cultural standards.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 "1 But understand this: In the last days, terrible times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good,
4 traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!"
Matthew 24:12 "Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold."

1 Timothy 4:1 "Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons,"
2 Peter 3:3 "Most importantly, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires."

Jude 1:18 "When they said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow after their own ungodly desires.”

These kinds of people are not those who are rare or obscure; they are the entire culture all the time. The reason we tend to dismiss attitudes is that we were raised in them, and they feel normal to us.

Those who follow Christ are very few and are not accepted by the rest of the culture.

Romans 1:29-31 "They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, and boastful. They invent new forms of evil; they disobey their parents. They are senseless, faithless, heartless, merciless."

Even those who think they are not like these last days people are in many ways, just like them, only a little more hidden.

2 Timothy 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;"

Since we know these are the times we live in and it is not an indictment against us when people despise us, we can be filled with joy at knowing we belong to Christ and He is the One Who keeps us safe from those who wish to destroy us. And, we know we will be going home soon because these things we see are the proof of the end times and it will all be over soon.

Our country fostered rebellion

Our country fostered rebellion within it by the very constitution we have loved so much. We taught for years that we do what we want and no one has the right to criticize us.

It has permeated our culture to such a degree that there are no filters on the mouths of young people, all sense of respect for parents is gone, and no one will listen to righteousness.

2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.…"

Wise people can see where this has led, growing worse every day.

Every elderly parent I know is going through some form of this rejection from ungrateful adult children.

It is truly 2 Timothy 3 playing out just the way God said it would.

Rising trend of adult children cutting off loving parents. We wanted to share since this is happening all around us: When Adult Children Cut Off Their Parents.

There's a rising trend in our culture that very few people want to talk about: adult children cutting off their parents.

I'm not talking about abuse situations or dangerous relationships. I'm talking about loving, flawed parents who raised their children, gave sacrificially, and are now being completely shut out with no warning, no conversation, and no willingness to reconcile.

According to research, the vast majority of estrangements between parents and adult children are initiated by the child, not the parent.
Often, the parent doesn't even fully know why.

One day, the phone calls stop. The texts go unanswered. The holidays are silent. And when you finally hear something, it's often a list of offenses you didn't even know existed.

Why is this happening? Because our culture now teaches that anyone who doesn't "support how you feel" is toxic. Therapy-speak has replaced honor. TikTok influencers and pop psychology encourage cutting people off as an act of self-love.

Many adult children are now rewriting their childhoods, relabeling boundaries as trauma, and tossing aside their parents like disposable relationships. This is rebellion. It's spiritual deception. It's pride disguised as empowerment.

Scripture warned us this would happen: "In the last days, people will be lovers of themselves... disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection." (2 Timothy 3)

If you're a parent going through this, you're not alone. You're not crazy. And you're not a failure.

The enemy is after families, and this is one of his most effective tools right now - deception and division.

These parents still have something to give. Love, advice, presence. Not perfection but something real. And now it just sits there, wasted. Not because they failed but because their children decided they were no longer worth the effort.

That is the heartbreak no one talks about. But God sees. He knows the truth. Keep praying. Stay grounded. Tell your story. Refuse bitterness. And don't stop believing that the prodigals can still come home.... Father we love and trust You in every situation. We ask that You put a protective hedge around our children and grands. Guard them from Satan's fiery darts and open our eyes to what we should do or not do. We ask that You have Your way with us all and that You will be glorified in the end. Forgive us all where we fail You and please, bring good out of even our mistakes. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Wow! Care to all going through this.

We Must Obey God Rather Than Man

A suggestion to adhere more to the Biblical model of the gathering of the church.I would suggest getting rid of the pulpit altogether, ditching the pews that face forward, and placing chairs in a circle so everyone could participate.

All of the traditions protestants practice concerning the gathering of Christians comes from the Catholic church model. Luther and Calvin were former Catholics who took with them when they left the church, many unbiblical practices.

They were dedicated to infant baptism, which is nowhere found in the scriptures. They believed in a hierarchy system God never commanded, and worst of all, they negated the gifts of the Spirit in every born-again believer.

Only those who had been educated by special schools were allowed to lead the gathering, allowing the congregants to believe they had no say, no gift and the Holy Spirit does not work in each of them. All of which negated the Holy Spirit quenching any sense of His leading.

John 16:113-14 "13However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.…"

This modern model of church, concocted hundreds of years ago, has defied the leading of the Holy Spirit in every believer who is not chosen by this hierarchical system.

Those who felt led to speak were disciplined for not coming under this false authority system. The Spirit of God was quenched so the people would follow those leaders who wanted their power over others.

John 14:26 "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you."

This passage was given to all believers not a select few.

1 Corinthians 2:10-13 "But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of man except his own spirit within him? So too, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us."

Next time someone attempts to intimidate you into silence using the hierarchy system as their excuse, get out of there. These people will only keep you oppressed and guilty of something you do that God commanded you to do. False guilt and intimidation, even rejection, are the tools of the devil, who wants to silence those who love Jesus Christ.

1 John 2:20-27 "You, however, have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. I have not written to you because you lack knowledge of the truth, but because you have it, and because no lie comes from the truth. Who is the liar, if it is not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son."

No teacher or leader is greater than the Holy Spirit Who lives in those who have been changed by Christ into a new creation. We belong to Christ, not to people.

When we obey Christ, He will be glorified. When we adhere to the dictates of men, it is the men who are glorified.

My purpose on Social Media

Ephesians 4:11-16 "Ephesians 4:11-16
"11 And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers,
12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ;
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
14 As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;
15 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ,
16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."

When all participate in the gathering, there is Spiritual unity and growth; without this, there is little, if any, growth.

God commanded all believers, men and women alike to grow and teach, share and respond to others in the gatherings.

Hebrews 5:11-13 "11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain, because you are dull of hearing. 12 Although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to reteach you the basic principles of God’s word. You need milk, not solid food! 13 For everyone who lives on milk is still an infant, inexperienced in the message of righteousness."

1 Peter 2:2 "Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,"

Ephesians 4:14 "Then we will no longer be infants, tossed about by the waves and carried around by every wind of teaching and by the clever cunning of men in their deceitful scheming."

2 Peter 3:18 "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen."

Our present culture and sadly, those in the church have the mentality Jeremiah spoke of in his day.

Jeremiah 6:10 "To whom can I give this warning? Who will listen to me? Look, their ears are closed, so they cannot hear. See, the word of the LORD has become offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it."

2 Timothy 4:3 "For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires."

Proverbs 9:9 "Instruct a wise man, and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man, and he will increase his learning."

Colossians 1:28 "We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ."

When teachers proclaim the truth of Christ, He is elevated and not any human being. May our goal be that every believer will expess their gift and edify one another so that our walk will no longer be worldly but rather Christlike.

1 Corinthians 12: 4-30 "Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;
5 and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord;
6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. (IN EVERYONE)
7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
8 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,
10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills."

One Body with Many Members
"12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many.
15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body.
16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body.
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell?
18 But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose.
19 If all were a single member, where would the body be?
20 As it is, there are many parts, yet one body.
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”
22 On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable,
23 and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty,
24 which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it,
25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.
26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. 28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles?
30 Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
31 But earnestly desire the higher gifts.
And I will show you a still more excellent way."

Everyone who is born again, man, woman, and children, has gifts to be expressed within the gathering and during the week when they go about their business in the world. No one is above another; no one has authority over another. All are important, and all receive their marching orders from Jesus Christ's Holy Spirit.

Philippians 1:9-10 "And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to test and prove what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,"
