Who is the Foolish Person?

- Ignores Reproof  (Proverbs 17:10, 19:25)
- Despises Instruction (Proverbs 1:7, 15:5)
- Perceives Himself as Always Right (Proverbs 12:15)
- Sees Mischief as Sport (Proverbs 10:23)
- Makes a Mockery of Sin (Proverbs 14:9)
- Is Quick Tempered (Proverbs 12:16, 14:17, 27:3)
-  Meddles in the Affairs of Others (Proverbs 20:3)
- Despises His Parents (Proverbs 15:20, 19:13)

Proverbs 17:10 "A rebuke goes deeper into one who has     understanding, than a hundred blows into a fool."

Proverbs 19:25 "Strike a scoffer and the naive may become shrewd, but reprove one who has understanding and he will gain knowledge. "

Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction."

Proverbs 15:5 "A fool rejects his fathers's discipline but he who regards reproof is sensible."

Proverbs 12:15 "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens to counsel."

Proverbs 10:23 "Doing wickedness is like sport to a fool, and so is wisdom to a man of understanding."

Proverbs 14:9" Fools mock sin, but among the upright there is good will.

Proverbs 12:16 "A fools anger is known at once, but a prudent man conceals dishonor."

Proverbs 14:17 "A quick tempered man acts foolishly, and a man of evil devices is hatred."

Proverbs 27:3 "A stone is heavy and the sand weighty, but the provocation of a fool is heavier than both of them."

Proverbs 20:3 "Keeping away from strife is an honor for a man, but any fool will quarrel."

Proverbs 15:20 "A wise son makes a father glad, but the foolish despises his mother."

Proverbs 19:13 "A foolish son is destruction to his father, and the contentions of a wife are a constant dripping."

God Hates Divorce, Simple!!!!

Yes, and why would anyone want to do what God hates unless God is irrelevant to them. Far too many people have the idea that God wouldn't want them to suffer in this life with someone who is difficult. If that were true then He would never have written these scriptures to us.
James 1:2-8
2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and [f]without reproach, and it will be given to him.
6 But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
7 For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
8 being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."
Our culture often throws away opportunities to be noble and strong by bailing out of trials. When we bail out of a trial in defiance of God we miss the wonderful lessons God has for us. We gain wisdom, strength and determination from seeing through the trials with Christ beside us.
Having been married nearly 50 years now I can tell you that remaining in a marriage through the hard things progresses to an even greater bond between two people. Spoiled brats want what they want right now. Mature adults see the potential beyond the trials, often soldiering on through them to a wonderful blessing on the other side.
Even the worst trials in any marriage can be endured and resolved if we just keep seeking God in everything. Bailing out of trials to avoid pain merely leaves us weak leading to more weakness.
Those who bail out of marriages often forget one thing, they are taking themselves into the next relationship. If we have not changed then many of the same trials are going to show up in the next spouse.
Keep in mind there is no blessing from God on a re-marriage after divorce, because it is adultery as God said. You can give all the excuses in the world why God didn't mean that for you, but the reality is that He did mean it for everyone.
The problem is that most people do not seek Christ in prayer and fasting through difficult marriage relationships, they just have their tantrum, refuse to take their lumps in difficult situations and bolt. They leave no time for God to work things out and they will not evaluate themselves to see if they are part of the problem.
Do you want to obey God in marriage? If so then seek Him all the time for everything. He has the answers for you. Never go to friends and family for advice, most of them will just believe your sob story, whether it is true or not and tell you to bail out. Seek Christ only!!!!
SEEK CHRIST ONLY!!!!!!! How to do that? Resolve to obey His word, pray and fast for the Lord to work things out.
We are in a battle and we have a Supreme Commander, that is Jesus Christ. Doing what He says even if we don't understand it will bring His blessing. Also, remember that His blessing is not necessarily in this life or the way we want things. His blessing might be as simple as the great joy we have in obeying Him as well as a very close relationship to Him.
I am so glad Navy Seals don't bail out of battles while obeying those in command over them.!!! I am glad that bridge builders look at the structural plans of their endeavor while building the bridge.
Our marching orders are in the Word of God and the plans for our life are outlined there. The principles are clear the specifics will be given to us by the Holy Spirit Who lives in us.
Flying by the seat of ones pants based on momentary feelings is foolish and destructive.
Proverbs 12:14-16 "…14 By fruitful speech a man will be filled with good things, and the work of a man’s hands will reward him. 15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to counsel. 16 A fool’s anger is known at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult."
“A wise man may look ridiculous in the company of fools.” Thomas Fuller
Many foolish people will attempt to counsel you to do the wrong things, ignore them.
Proverbs 18:2-3
2 A fool does not delight in understanding,
But only in revealing his own mind.
3 When a wicked man comes, contempt also comes,
And with dishonor comes scorn.
Our world doesn't know it but "dishonor comes when there is divorce and remarriage. The problem is that our world refuses to see this allowing those who do not know the Word of God to embrace the lies that life will be better if we disobey God. So they lie and pretend that God allows it. Yes, He does allow it for the "hard hearted" person.
Isaiah 32:6A
6 For a fool speaks nonsense,
And his heart inclines toward wickedness:
To practice ungodliness and to speak error against the Lord,"

said this; Malachi 2:16

Malachi 2:16
"16 For I hate divorce,” says the Lord, the God of Israel, “and him who covers his garment with wrong (violence),” says the Lord of hosts. “So take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.”

The Foolish Person

Image may contain: text

"The New Testament is in the old concealed, the Old is in the New revealed."

Christ is all through the Old Testament of the Bible. We are living in times when all this is being revealed to us. What the prophets could not understand we now are understanding.

We are living in amazing blessings of prophesy revealed as it never has been before. The born again believer can see how prophesy is playing out in real time.

I have always thought how wonderful it would be to visit with the prophets in heaven as we gather around the throne of God to hear stories of Old Testament times.

Then I began to realize that the prophets wrote things of which they didn't understand but now we do. Perhaps they will want to ask us what it was like living in the very times they wrote about.

Col 1:26-28
"26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:"

1 Corinthians 15:51-55
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”

Very soon born again believers will go home. The misery of this world will be left behind and Christ will come back at the end to make everything right.

Psalm 103:10-18 Hallelujah Amen!

Denominationalism is Disobedience

Nearly all the denominations are going bad these days. I believe its because they were in disobedience to God when they formed these separations between believers in the first place.

In the New Testament God tells us that He formed church gatherings based on the places where they lived. "The church at Ephesus" the names given to the churches were not based on any particular doctrine but rather on the place they were meeting.

When the church gatherings were based on a particular doctrine they were making one doctrine more important than all the other doctrines. People were evaluated on their belief on that particular doctrine not on their profession of faith in Christ.

1 John 4:21
"And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother."

Hebrews 11:6
"And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him."

Colossians 1:2
"To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father."

We are brothers and sisters in Christ because we have trusted in Christ and He has changed us into a new creation, sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise. Because we are in Christ through the Holy Spirit we are a family connected by Him to one another.

Ephesians 1:12-14 "…12 in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, would be for the praise of His glory. 13 And in Him, having heard and believed the word of truth— the gospel of your salvation— you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is the pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession, to the praise of His glory.…"

2 Corinthians 5:16-18 "…16 So from now on we regard no one according to the flesh. Although we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:…"

2 Peter 1:4
"For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust."

Romans 8:9
"You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him."

Born again believers connect instantly to one another, they sense a connection often before they know anything about one another. Sometimes we do not connect with someone who says they are a Christian, this sends up a red flag. The same Holy Spirit is in others who are born again, there should be connection that is Spiritual.

Just as John the Baptist lept in the womb of his mother, Elizabeth at the presence of Jesus Christ in the womb of His mother, Mary. John the Baptist is the only person who was described as having the Holy Spirit while in the womb of his mother. The connection between John and Jesus Christ was the Holy Spirit.

Luke 1:44
"44 For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy."

John was able to sense the presence of the Holy Spirit in Mary and Jesus Christ because he and his mother were also filled with the Holy Spirit.

I always wonder why so many "Christians" are not able to connect deeply with other believers. Is it possible and even likely that many who say they are "Christians" have joined the Christian club but were never born again therefore not having the Holy Spirit they do not connect with authentic born again believers.

Judas had been with Jesus as all the other apostles but was not invested in Him. He was around, he tasted the good fruit of knowing truth by having been with Jesus Christ but was never born again. He was a pretender, hanging out with the apostles, even looking so much like them they didn't know he was the betrayer of whom Christ spoke.

Hebrews 6:4-6 "…4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age— 6 and then have fallen away—to be restored again to repentance, because they themselves are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting Him to open shame.…'

Matthew 26:20-22 "…20 When evening came, Jesus was reclining with the twelve disciples. 21 And while they were eating, He said to them, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray Me.” 22 They were deeply grieved and began to ask Him one after another, “Surely not I, Lord?”"

During this time Christ had not yet left this earth, He had not yet given the Holy Spirit to the apostles so that they would be able to discern many things. In the case of John the Baptist and Jesus in the womb, it was a special case in which John was given the Holy Spirit along with his mother.

In old testament times the Holy Spirit came and went from people for special purposes but in our dispensation of grace Christ gave us the Holy Spirit when he left this earth. Believers now have the Holy Spirit permanently as the guarantee of our inheritance. He is the Seal upon us, that we belong to Christ.

John 16:7-8 "7 But I tell you the truth, it is for your benefit that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:…"

John 16:12-14 "…12 I still have much to tell you, but you cannot yet bear to hear it. 13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.…"

The Holy Spirit dwells in every born again believer, every born again believer is connected to one another by His union in each of us.

John 13:34-35 "…34 A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so also you must love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” "

Romans 8:8-10 "8 Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God. 9 You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.…"

Romans 8:7-9 "…7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God. 9 You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.…"

This is how we know if someone is born again by the Spirit who lives in them. We will also see the fruit of Christ in every born again believer. They are not works that can be seen outwardly but rather character qualities that can be seen with Spiritual eyes. The very character qualities of Christ will be seen in us, but only discerned by others believers. Those who do not know Christ are offended by these qualities, they will interpret them as hostile for not conforming to the world.

Galatians 5:22-23
"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

Sports Must Be Rational and Fair

O.K. when a transgender woman who used to be a man competes in women's sports it is cheating.....Just saying!

Its cheating because the DNA of a man remains in the transgender person no matter how they mutilate their bodies.

Everyone with a brain knows that most men are stronger and have more stamina than most women.

Anyone wanting to come here and pretend that women in general have as much physical strength and stamina as men do, can expect their foolish comments to be deleted.

YES, I said it.........foolish!!!!!

Bullies Hate Those Who Think For Themselves

In the matter of whether or not we are "convicted" about something we are doing. Many people will use the excuse that I am not convicted about doing this or that to justify the sin they embrace.

If something is clearly mentioned in scripture there is no need for a "feeling of conviction." When we are told the truth from scripture then we are responsible to obey even if we "feel" nothing.

Those who are defying God will not have a conviction, their conscience is seared and they will even feel a sense of happiness in the middle of their sin.

The attempt to convince others of the lack of conviction is a sure sign they have no desire to evaluate what they are doing.

If someone were to approach me about something that is not sin against the word of God, I would never use the phrase; "I am not convicted about that." I would more likely give them the scripture that shows I am not sinning or challenge them to show me the scripture that proves I am sinning. In any case there would be an open honest discussion about the the challenge that I should or should not do something.

The phrase "I am not convicted about that" is often used when someone knows what they are doing is sin but is blaming God for their lack of "guilt" about it.

John 14:15
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

Isaiah 1:19
"If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;"

Every day we make choices based on rational and reasonable thinking. We can choose to obey God and do what is right without the distraction of feelings. Or we can choose to ignore God's commands and do whatever our mind wants.

Feelings are fleeting and often inaccurate. If we follow our feelings we will be in error and continually deceived. We must know the word of God and obey it, no matter what our feelings might be manipulating us to think .

Feelings are easily manipulated, this is the reason so many shopping centers play happy music. We are likely to purchase more if we are happy with a sense of euphoria.

Also in ungodly family situations you might have pressure from family members who want you to ignore your conscience to participate in something you would not normally do. The pressure from family causes guilt in us, that perhaps we are the ones making someone else unhappy, when in reality those who pressure us are the ones making us unhappy.

The pack mentality is very strong in family settings. If the pack is unhappy then the one strong sheep is going to be attacked for making them feel bad. The pack never accounts for the needs or desires of the one, they always assault the stronger one who does not give into the pressure of the group.

Wolves always make excuses for their behavior as well as viciously encroaching on the rights of anyone who will not bow to their will.

If you have been the target of those who want you to become like them, then you understand everything I have written here.

The freest people in the world are those who have determined how they will walk and with whom they choose to walk, without reservation disregarding any attempts by others to intimidate into submission.

Thank the Lord He is our strength, He is our truth, no one else takes His place in authority over us. We do submit to people as we obey God's Word, but never under coercion and never out of feelings of guilt.

Luke 6:46
“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?"

Luke 11:28
"But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
