The Tyndale Bible the First English Translation

Why do some people believe the only correct version of the bible has been around since 1611? Before the KJB there were others who translated into other languages. Were all the people who read those languages not getting the word of God? Are only those who speak and read English getting the Word of God? Why would anyone think the KJV of the Bible had "inspired" translators and all the others did not?

The Tyndale Bible was translated into English by William Tyndale ( c. 1494–1536). Tyndale's Bible was the first English translation to work directly from Hebrew and Greek texts. This translation was the oldest of all English translations. Why would the KJV of the Bible be held above the Tindale Bible? I do not get this at all!!!!

The first Bible translation into German was in 1534 before the KJV 1611, into English.

The language of Christ was Hebrew and Aramaic. It would make more sense for people to believe that only the Hebrew and Aramaic versions of the Bible were accurate, which is what I believe. The fact is that God allowed the Bible to remain so that it could be passed to every tongue and people group in every age.

The miracle is not in the translations but in the Holy Spirit's ability to get His Word, which is the essence of Jesus Christ, Called the Word, into every believer with the proper understanding. Christ is the Word, not those words on the page, He is the one Who takes words from a page and turns them into truth for the born-again believer and anyone else who is seeking Him.

Hebrews 4:12

"12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

Psalm 119:105

"105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

To rely only on one translation is like saying God does not have the ability to incorporate into each mind His message unless it is through that version and in English. What arrogance to believe only the "English" speaking people had the Bible correctly, especially when it was not the language of Christ.

I take issue with this. God spoke to me through several versions over the years, as He does with anyone who is seeking Him. All the versions I have read were nearly exactly the same when it came to the gospel and all the important matters. This is the miracle of God that so many KJV followers deny, that God is the author, He can protect His own word no matter what translation.

I do not include commentaries in this which is what the "Message" is, it is not a Bible at all, it was not translated from the original languages and was merely one man's opinion. In the beginning, the "Message" was not advertised as a Bible, it was called a commentary. It does not qualify as a translation on any level.

Many more people around the world became born again through a different language than through English. God moved in their hearts, they believed and whatever translation was in their language He brought the truth through the Holy Spirit.

Satan could not get the believers who were reading the Bible to fight with one another so he devised a plan to cause them to fight about translation, ruining the Christian witness as the world watches the biting and devouring one another over a translation.

I do not trust in any translations, I read them and trust the Holy Spirit alone.

I am saddened that so many are fighting over this issue. I have no issue with anyone who wants to read the KJV only, I take issue with fighting and diminishing the spirituality of others merely because they use a different version. Even calling it sinful, some go so far as to declare someone not saved if they use other versions, this is beyond perposterous.

I do not write this to cause division or to start fights, I write it as a warning to be careful defending something that is not true and that causes division orchestrated by the devil.

I love my brothers and sisters who use the KJV, I do at times too, but I cannot stand the judging of others over this matter of translations. Those of us who use other versions do not chastise the "KJV only" people for what they use, they should not be doing it to us either.

I also write this to help those who are confused and pressured by others to use a particular version. Do not be discouraged or intimidated by others as to the version you choose. Ask God, do what He says, and ignore the attackers who want to control you.

Love to all of you no matter what version you use, may the Holy Spirit be the God in your lives, not a person or a translation. Seek Him!!!!!!

Religion is Superficial and Meaningless!

Most people in the churches are there for "religion" not a relationship with Christ. Religion makes people feel safe but it does not save them.

Rituals make people feel like they have done something to earn their own way into heaven. The only observances God gave us were the Lord's supper, the head covering for women, the uncovered head for men and baptism for those who have been born again. These were symbols given by God to His church to remind us of His purposes. They do not save anyone but are expressions of our obedience because we love Him.

Covering that woman has placed herself under her husband.

The lack of covering for men to show He has placed himself under Christ and is the covering for the woman.

The Lord's supper to worship Christ's death burial and resurrection to pay for our sins and;

Baptism is an expression of what Christ did in us, going under the water to be cleansed and coming out a new creation.

All other rituals denominations have added are not only unnecessary but not commanded by God therefore they remain meaningless to God.

Proverbs 21:3

"To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice."

God is not impressed with our own idea of sacrifice, He wants us to obey Him.

Romans 6:16

"Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?"

When we tell God how we will sacrifice for Him that leaves us a god over Christ. God wants us to bow to Him not elevate ourselves to His level, which is impossible but many do it in their own minds just as the devil did in heaven when he wanted to be above God.

Born again believers need no other rituals to make them "feel" close to God, they obey Him and ARE close to God. Feeling close to God is temporary and lasts as long as the dead ritual, but being close to God is eternal.

Those who need rituals, dreams, visions, and grandiose miracles have a weak faith based on feelings.

Matthew 16:4 "4A wicked and adulterous generation demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Then He left them and went away. "

I have seen many miracles in my time, mostly they were miracles of things working out or God redirecting our path, things others would not believe are miracles, but I knew they were because of the way things worked out without me forcing anything.

God's working in our lives every day brings many wonderous and joyous days full of hope. Even in the middle of our trials we know Christ in us has a purpose that is beyond anything we can see, these are miracles.

I need no grandiose visions or miracles to feel close to Christ, He stirs within me every single day as He does with many others who have submitted themselves to Him.

Do not look to miracles, visions, and dreams, look to Christ and you will never be bored. Build your faith by observing His blessings every day! Those who are watching and waiting for the next vision or miracle are missing so much of life. Bask in the joy of a sunny day, a flower in bloom, the wind in your hair as you praise God for all His blessings!

America is Far too Gone, Look to Jesus Christ!

America is too far gone! We have reached the debauchery of Sodom and Gomorrah. God must punish us as a country for the more than 60 million babies that have been murdered at the hands of their own mothers with the endorsement of extended family members.

We are the main distributors of pornography to the rest of the world.

Divorce and remarriage is out of control in the churches and the people defend it as though it is a right when God condemns these acts.

We have crooked politicians and deceivers running this country as well as liberal school teachers trained in liberal colleges teaching the children to believe in evolution, the girls to have careers leaving their homes for the sake of money, and much more. We have these wicked politicians because the people chose them. They have stacked the deck in the school system to only allow liberal teachers to dominate the educational system.

Our sins against God's Word within the church gatherings are many! Most "Christians" think the Bible is a book of suggestions written by men, they do not know that God is the author and Jesus Christ is the very essence of His own word. And yet, when you tell them they become angry.

When the people of a country see the Bible as a book to look to in times of trouble it does not see Christ for Who He is, that is God! To this country, Christ is a symbol and idea, not a real person to be sought after and obeyed. This is why they mix so much paganism with their Christianity, just adding Jesus to the mix to make up their own idea of religion.

It is easy to test this out to see if it is true. Just use the scriptures to answer questions and problems in our culture and watch the strange looks and the rejection that emerges from those hearing. Do this in the churches and you will get the same strange looks. You will be blackballed and ignored with the hope that you will just leave.

The world has taken over the gatherings as sure as mold and moss thrive in damp environments. We now have more pretenders, that is tares in the church following whatever they like to believe while spurning any correction from God's Word.

2 Timothy 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but having itching ears, they shall heap to themselves teachers in accordance with their own lusts."

MATTHEW 7:19–23
“‘So then, you will know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’”

Matthew 13:30 "…29 ‘No,’ he said, ‘if you pull the weeds now, you might uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First, collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my barn.’”

We now have more weeds in the church than we have wheat. The tares are infecting the wheat with false doctrine, causing them to doubt what they know. These are the weaker wheat who are not yet grounded in the Word, even fearful of going to the scriptures for themselves for fear of offending the tares.

God will sort them all out at the end, however, when you become discerning wheat, desiring the pure truth from God's Word, you will want to remove yourselves from the gatherings of tares to find a gathering that is more wheat than tares.

Then we must pray that the tares become broken over their superficial "religion" to become born again. The warning is this; If we spend more time with tares than we do with the wheat we will become like the tares to prevent conflict, this is the danger of allowing our close friendships to be those who only pretend to love God.

When the man in the pulpit is preaching watered-down cultural Christianity infecting the tares with false doctrine there is no convincing them to listen to that one or two other pew people who correct the pulpit person. (as Larry Jones refers to the people in his articles)

Since the tares give more credence to the pulpit person than they do to Christ they will see this pulpit person as a god rather than a man to be monitored to be sure he is telling the truth.

Acts 7:11-12 "11Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true. 12As a result, many of them believed, along with quite a few prominent Greek women and men.…"

The Bereans questioned Paul and went to the scriptures to make sure he was telling the truth.

In our culture, the pew people are those who sit in the pew week after week believing everything the pulpit person says. Laughing at all his foolish jesting and believing no one should challenge him because he is their god, they suck into their souls his teachings without questioning and without discernment because they do not know the Bible. It is easier for them to just believe the "expert" from seminary, trained by men than to trust the Holy Spirit for their guidance.

The one-man pastor system did not come from the Bible, it came from a model of the Catholic church. Luther was trained in this, even though he left the catholic church he took with him many of their practices, one of which is the one-man pastor system.

If you want to see how God intended for the gathering to operate it would be good to read a book explaining the scriptures that show us God's model for the gathering and worship.

We are living in the final days before Christ takes out His church after which He will bring upon the world His wrath. Things will not get better anywhere, if they do it is only short-lived and in appearance more than substance.

Jeremiah 6:14
"14 They have healed the wound of my people superficially, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace."

This is happening today, Many preachers are motivational speakers bringing only happy thoughts and deluding the people into thinking all they have to do is think good thoughts and everything will be alright. They schmooze the people with false hope of prosperity and happiness while they are on their way to hell.

My hope is that those who have known the truth about this but have been confused will become resolute and strong without doubt about what the Bible and the Holy Spirit is telling them.

James 1:6
"But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind."

James 1:4-6 "…4 Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.…"

Willful Ignorance Has its Consequences

I was once in a Bible study in which the teacher would go around the room and say silly things like; "and what does this verse mean to you."

I challenged it and said, it doesn't matter what anyone wants it to mean, what matters is what God meant!

The group ignored me and continued along the same way as before I said anything. The ignorance is sometimes beyond belief.

I stopped attending these women's gatherings because they were often silly like this, focusing on feelings and emotions far more than truth. When someone attempts to bring truth the ladies are agitated and shun the one who wants pure Bible truth.

When we are faced with willful ignorance there is nothing we can do but walk away.

Matthew 13:15

"15 For the heart of this people has become dull,

With their ears they scarcely hear,

And they have closed their eyes,

Otherwise they might see with their eyes,

Hear with their ears,

Understand with their heart, and return,

And I would heal them.’"

Job 21:14

"14 Yet they say to God, ‘Go away from us!

We do not even desire the knowledge of Your ways."

When someone rejects the truth, spurns the wisdom from God's Word, and rejects us that is the time to remove ourselves. We waste our time with those who are stubborn, any more time spent with them does not soften their stony hearts. Pray that God will work on them His own way, leaving all the results to Him.

The Bible and the Holy Spirit is All We Need!

There were many dreams and visions in the bible before we had the New Testament which is a new dispensation for the church age.

After we had the completed scriptures we walk by its direction and by faith, not by dreams and vision.

Many people today are thinking that every thought and every dream has meaning, this is not true. I need no dream or vision to obey Christ and His Word. Each day I live by His Word. There is no new revelation since the Word of God has been completed.

Desiring to know the future is lack of faith and divination.

The dreams and visions for the future in the Bible were promises to the Jews during the tribulation. They will be under a special dispensation specifically for them. Gentiles cannot claim the promises to the Jews for themselves. They belong only to the Jews.

Matthew 16:4 " 4 A wicked and adulterous generation demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Then He left them and went away. "

The reason God said this in Matthew was that those who lack faith need dreams and visions to bolster a weak faith. Those who walk by faith need no new revelation or knowledge of the future. We walk each day by His written word and trust Him for all the future.

Constantly attempting to trust in dreams will only bring on demonic activity. These devils place dreams in the minds of people to confuse, frustrate and cause fear. Ignore the dreams, do not attempt to interpret them in a way that you wish to, just let them go and walk resolutely by the Holy Word of God and the Holy Spirit.

Because we are living in the last days there are going to be many presumptuous people who l love the attention they gain by claiming to have a meaningful dream. Anyone can make a dream say anything they like to appear spiritual.

The Holy Spirit lives in all born-again believers He speaks to each one as they trust Him. No need for a dream about the future, in fact, these things are distracting rather than helpful.

1 John 4:1 "1Beloved, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world."

Beware of Changing God's Word!

Even worse than not knowing Scripture is to know it, treat it disrespectfully and change God's meaning to fit our culture.
