The Monstrous Lack of Discernment in the Apostate Church Today

Those "Christians" who lack discernment believing their media of choice, will be the ones who will welcome the antichrist.

They will believe his lies thinking they are biblical. They will not listen to rational and reasonable Biblical discussion to discover what is wrong. They have so hardened their hearts to truth that they will even malign and shun those who try to warn them.

Because their feelings and desires are for pleasure they will not listen to sound doctrine. We are seeing this right now in many church gatherings. They have a form of "religion" but have never been born again.

Their traditions are far more important to them than God's truth. I am observing this right now among many Christians I know. When we attempt to bring on a discussion about a Biblical matter, a discussion is discouraged by anger expressed to prevent any dialogue.

Do not be discouraged by this, it is everywhere now, and its not about us, it is the world in the church motivated by Satan's lies. We need not take it personally but we must pray and be led by the Holy Spirit as we endure the hatred.

Christ is far more important than our comfort or having the last word. God will have the last word even without us.

Amen, Amen! What concerns me about the shows about the Bible, is that they add to the word in order to make a story, just as you have said. It was disturbing to me when I heard someone say they knew the story of Noah because they saw the movie. That movie was terrible, not only unbiblical but silly! The movie had Moses escaping out of Sodom with Lot! LOL

The Strange Thing About My Husband and Myself

Yes, we are very strange this way, my husband and I, actually believe the Word of God, The Bible is the Word from Jesus Christ.

John 20:30–31

"30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

John 1:1

"1, In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

If the word of God is merely a book of suggestions then we might as well throw the whole thing out. However, if the Word of God is the Word of Jesus Christ then we had better desire to obey what He wrote to us.

Nowhere in the Word of God do we read the words "but only if you like what I wrote, obey them."

When we encounter often, from other "Chrisians" anger toward us because we suggest that we obey the Word of God, this is strong evidence that we are living in the age of apostasy.

I am astonished at so many church goers who are accepting unbiblical attitudes, justifying them many different ways, while hostile to correction at the misuse of scripture.

No longer enduring sound doctrine these people refuse to hear another side to the question, God's side.

2 Timothy 4:3 “For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires.”

We are there, folks, we are in the age of apostasy when people justify every disobedience merely to be able to enjoy their pleasures.

Pray that you will not be influenced by their lax and flippant use of Scripture mixed with worldly ideas.
