Two Quotes

I heard two quotes on facebook this week, one of which I had heard before, and the other one was new to me. Both made very good sense. I don't know the original author of either quote, but the principles are Biblical.

"What we tolerate, we teach." AND "If we don't stand for something, we'll fall for anything."

All those people who think they are loving people by ignoring and tolerating sin, are in serious error. The more we ignore and tolerate evil the more it grows.

Those who will not speak when evil is celebrated are more interested in being loved by people than pleasing God. Far too many Christians, "just let it go." Thinking they are acting in a way that shows love.

Warning is love, tolerance and acceptance of sin is a form of hate.

We will be held responsible for all the times we should have spoken or rejected, but did not.

Proverbs 27:17 "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another."

James 5:19-20 "My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins."

Ephesians 4:25 "Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another."

Ezekiel 3:18 ""When I say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand."

Titus 3:10 "As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him,"
