2 Corinthians 7:8
"For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season."
Next time we are tempted to be angry because someone corrected or instructed us, perhaps we should remember that:
Romans 8:28 "28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Perhaps the person who attempted to speak truth to us, was actually showing love, God's kind of love.
If that person said it in a way we didn't like, then it was still God attempting to get our attention. Stop focusing on the delivery and pray about the words that were said.
