The Pope is demonized! He brings a false gospel and a false love!
As a former Catholic I can tell you that there was no love to be found in the Catholic church among it's people. Only a pretense of love based on earning points for those who do the good deeds.
The more good deeds the better chance for earning heaven. There may be some loving Catholic people, but I haven't met them, even in all those I met, they were all working their way to heaven, therefore it really wasn't about the person they were helping, it was about their own points to earn heaven.
This is why I had no respect for "Mother Teresa", she was willing to tell "Hindus", they would be a better Hindu if they had Christ too. Toward the end of her life she was in fear of dying and didn't know where she was going. She brought a false gospel that only kept those she served in the darkness.
When someone is helping you because they get points for themselves then there is an absence of love. When we serve Christ we serve others because of the outpouring of love that flows from Christ.
There can be no love when "self" is on the throne, only heartbreak and misery.
Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
1 John 4:16 "16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him."
1 John 4:19-20 "We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. "
1 Corinthians 13:4-13 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. . .And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
