You Cannot Work Your Way to Keeping Your Salvation

Those who believe they can lose their salvation are depending on their own good deeds to maintain their salvation. No one can do that, only Christ's blood can cover ones' sin. A man cannot die for his own sin, only Christ did that. One cannot work to keep what they did not work to earn in the first place.

Ephesians 2:10
"10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

Christ changed us into a new creation, He does all the work in us, we sometimes disobey, but He still remains in us, we are still His children.""

Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, or lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father"

If you could work your way to keeping your salvation then it is not Christ doing it. Those who preach loss of salvation are preaching heresy and working their own way to heaven. Those people will not be accepted into heaven.

Matthew 7:21-23 "21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"

Those in Matthew 7 are proclaiming to God all they did for Him and He rejects them.
