Christ is the Word!

The Bible is the WORD, Christ is the Word, the Bible is the essence of God and His principles. He has imparted to us His very heart in His Word.

To negate the Bible is to negate Christ.

To mock the Bible its to mock Christ.

To pluck scriptures out of context to make them say what we want to believe is to deny Christ.

To use only the parts of the Bible we like is to deny Christ.

As born again believers our marching orders are to seek diligently Christ through His word and prayer.

1 Corinthians 2:16
“For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ."

Without the mind of Christ the unbeliever cannot understand the Bible even if they read it from cover to cover. Those who don't know Christ will interpret the Bible in terms of their own fallen thinking.

We must have Christ to understand God's Heart.

1 Corinthians 2:14-16
"The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ."

If you want to understand God you must be born again! Then you must study the Word with the help of the Holy Spirit, then there is growth and obedience.
