The devil is the false god of petty! His goal is to make as many people as possible hypersensitive to every little thing to ruin relationships. He is a roaring lion on the prowl to devour as well as an angel of light to deceive.
1 Peter 5:8

8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
When we know who he is and what he does we are better equipped to battle him in prayer as well as those he uses.
