All the devil had to do was convince the conservatives that their president was going to save their land from intruders, fill their bank accounts, and protect from criminals... They don't see that none of that is working out for them. It is a drop in the bucket of wickedness that continues to dominate our culture.
The Christians have stopped trusting in God and have begun to pridefully trust in their own vote and whoever says what they like to hear.
Christians have not been concerned about salvation for the lost; they were too full of their own desires and a happy, clappy life to see that even if they had been able to save our country, the people in it were still on their way to hell, even many who say they are Christians.
Matthew 7:21-23 "21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"
