We Are Kept By Christ Alone

Beware of those who think we must work to keep the salvation we did not earn in the first place.

Ephesians 2:10 "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."

When we become born again, changed into a new creation by Christ after changing our mind about sin, confessing our need for deliverance, then He is the One that does all the work in us after that.
When we hear Him speaking to us and disobey, He will discipline us to bring us back into obedience.

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."

1 John 1:9 "9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

2 Corinthians 5:21 "
21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."

1 John 1:29 "29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"
Hebrews 12:2 "2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."

Titus 3:5 "5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,"

Ephesians 2:9 "9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
(This includes any works before or after salvation)

Romans 3:10 "10 as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one;"

Romans 3:23 "23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

Isaiah 64:6 "6 We have all become like one who is unclean,
and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment.
We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away."

John 1:12 "12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,"

Acts 16:31 "31 And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
