We are not commanded to make sure they like us or that they listen, only to speak it in the power of the Holy Spirit and leave the results to God.
Ephesians 4:25
"Therefore, laying aside falsehood, SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE of you WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are members of one another."
Proverbs 29:25-26 " 25 The fear of man brings a snare, But he who trusts in the LORD will be exalted. 26 Many seek the ruler's favor, But justice for man comes from the LORD.…"
Acts 5:29
"29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."
John 12:43-44 "43 For they loved praise from men more than praise from God. 44 Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in Me does not believe in Me alone, but in the One who sent Me.…"
When we love God more than anything else, we will not be concerned about man's reaction to truth. We will however be careful to make sure that Christ is speaking to us and through us, because we desire with our entire being to please God.
In these last days of rebellion, we can expect most people who are confronted with truth, will become angry, judging us as mean spirited or rude, when those who reject the principles of Christ are the ones who are these things.
This is the devil's favorite tactic in these last days, lying is his forte, he does it cleverly in a way that looks right! This is why we must know the Word of God, consult continually with Christ in us to guide us. We don't have to be fooled or deceived, we can always ask God.
