The Fruit of Wrong Doctrine

Has anyone else noticed how venomous "Law Keepers" have become.

They promote the following of the Law claiming they are saved by grace but must follow the Law to stay saved.

The Hebrew Roots movement has done more damage to the gospel than any other movements I have seen lately.

Matthew 15:7-9 "[7] Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, [8] This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. [9] But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."

Romans 8:1-4 "[1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. [3] For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: [4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

Attempting to be good enough through the keeping of the Law, negates the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives. When we become born again we walk by the Spirit, not by works. We do works because the Spirit of Christ is living in us, but it is He Who keeps us not our own works.

Ephesians 3:16 "That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;"

Those that are feverishly working to keep salvation by their works have not trusted Christ nor can they as long as they are trusting in their own works. These people add works to the work of Christ on the cross, to them it is Christ plus their own works.

Revelation 22:18-19 "[18] For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: [19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
