Forgiveness without Confession is Nothing of Value

God never commanded us to forgive those who refuse to confess or be broken over their sin. The whole idea of "forgiving an unrepentant" person is psychology and has been propagated in all the churches today, who have gone with the world instead of Christ.

No one can point to one verse that says, "forgive for your own sake." We forgive for the sake of the relationship based on God's principles of forgiveness.

Leviticus 26:40 " 40 IF they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their forefathers, in their unfaithfulness which they committed against Me, and also in their acting with hostility against Me-- 41 I also was acting with hostility against them, to bring them into the land of their enemies-- or if their uncircumcised heart becomes humbled so that they then make amends for their iniquity,…"

Matthew 18:15-18 15 “If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother.
16 But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every fact may be confirmed.
17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
18 Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth [t]shall have been loosed in heaven."

Forgiveness without confrontation and before repentance is just a lazy way of not having to deal with sin in the body.

Christianity in our day is lazy, desiring to be liked by everyone we meet, we have diminished and even eliminated the mandates of God.

Mark 7:13 "13 Thus you nullify the word of God by the tradition you have handed down. And you do so” in many such matters."

Those who are so proud of themselves for forgiving man's way, feel real good about themselves, but they thwart the purposes of God, negating the ways that work to convict hearts, while bringing a false view of God.

God does not forgive without confession, He does not bring anyone into the kingdom without requiring a broken spirit that sees the need for Him.

1 John 1:9
"9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

IF we confess....If we confess and "confess one to another." These statements are the commands of God.
