The Holy Spirit Our Righteousness

Anyone who has the Holy Spirit will be convicted immediately of their sin.

However, if we ignore Him He can go silent and allow the consequences of our stubbornness to teach us.

Our prayers will not be answered as long as we are in sin and we will regress in wisdom. I have seen it so many times, that believers who will not listen to a rebuke from God's word suddenly seem to have lost their discernment and the right-thinking until the consequences become so big that they can no longer ignore the discipline from God through consequences.

If the sin is not dealt with before they die then there are lost rewards in heaven.

1 Corinthians 2:10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care.
11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,
13 their work will be shown for what it is because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.
14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.
15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.
16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
18 Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”;
20 and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”
21 So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours,
22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours,
23 and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

2 Corinthians 5:10
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil."

Unsaved people will be judged and go to hell for not trusting in Christ. The born again believers will be judged according to their rewards not according to salvation. Those deeds done by Christ in us will remain, anything done in the flesh will burn off and not be counted for a reward.

Even good deeds that God never told us to do will not be counted. Only those deeds that Christ did in us will be counted.

James 1:12 (ESV)
12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

Some people will have little reward and others a lot, that decision is entirely up to God.

As for me, I want to bless God as much as I can just because I love Him because He loved me so much that He died to pay for my sin. There is no greater love than this!!!

John 15:12-15 "12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do what I command you.…"
