When the Narcissist Attacks

When the narcissist attacks its' always in broad statements without specifics or evidence to prove you are a certain way.

Remember they always attempt to make you look like the crazy one. In an attempt to cause you to become crazy because of their accusations and projection, they hope you will be goaded into anger so they can feel justified in what they accused you of being.

The narcissist is adept at turning others against those for whom they have contempt. Their contempt is not justified but they like to believe so. We are watching this in the legislature right now as the Democrats accuse others of what the Democrats are doing and the others are not.

We will continue to see these sort of devilish aggravating tactics as the times grow worse, so what is the answer for us as believers?

God clearly states that we are to never allow the devil to goad us into anger or affect our walk with Him.

Proverbs 22:23-25 "…23 for the LORD will take up their case and will plunder those who rob them. 24 Do not make friends with an angry man, and do not associate with a hot-tempered man, 25 or you may learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.…"

We are to bless those who curse us when in their presence but we are not to make these devilish souls our constant companions.

Proverbs 26:4-5
4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly,
Or you will also be like him.
5 Answer a fool as his folly deserves,
That he not be wise in his own eyes.

We are to remain silent when a foolish person attempts to goad us into a meaningless argument.

Proverbs 12:15-17 "…15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to counsel. 16 A fool’s anger is known at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult. 17 He who speaks the truth declares what is right, but a false witness speaks deceit.…"

The devil wants born again believers to react to foolishness, it makes appear as foolish as the narcissist.

When we know the tactics of the devil and his minions we do not have to handle them, convince them or come against them, God has our back and He will deal with them for us. Hallelujah!!!!
