Hardened Hearts

Remember when God sent the plagues to Pharoah? The passage says; "God hardened Pharoah's heart" and in the same passage it says that "Pharoah hardened his own heart." Which is true?

The truth is that God did what He knew would cause Pharaoh to harden his own heart. He sent plagues, with each plague the Pharaoh became more hardened than the last one.

This is our country, God is sending plagues and people to disrupt the wicked lifestyle of a nation that has turned its back on God.

With each new thing, there is a temporary revival, for a few minutes, then shortly after the calamity passes everyone returns to their old selves. Nothing has changed in the hearts of people, they have only modified behavior for a time to feel better about their safety.

God brings the leaders that will accomplish His will, not necessarily what the people will want. Freedom is not the objective of any believer's life. It is glorifying God and seeing many people repenting and becoming born again, that is the objective of the Spiritual Christian.

God is sending things to us right now to warn us of the calamity that will come if the country and the world will not repent. And, in these last days, we know that neither will repent. We know that we are living in the last days when people are stubborn, self-willed, and resistant to God's will. Even the "Christians" will not listen to truth. They love their traditions, willing to hang onto them harder than ever before.

Deuteronomy 1:43
"So I spoke to you, but you would not listen. Instead, you rebelled against the command of the Lord, and acted presumptuously and went up into the hill country."

Psalm 75:5
"Do not lift up your horn on high,
Do not speak with insolent pride.’”

Proverbs 1:24
“Because I called and you refused,
I stretched out my hand and no one paid attention;"

Proverbs 1:26, NASB: "I will also laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your dread comes,"

Proverbs 1:25-27 "…25 because you neglected all my counsel, and wanted none of my correction, 26, in turn, I will mock your calamity; I will sneer when terror strikes you, 27 when your dread comes like a storm, and your destruction like a whirlwind when distress and anguish overwhelm you.…"

Psalm 59:8
"But You, O LORD, laugh at them; You scoff at all the nations."

Proverbs 6:15
"Therefore calamity will come upon him suddenly; in an instant, he will be shattered beyond recovery."

Isaiah 57:7
"I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things."

Isaiah 45:7
"The One forming light and creating darkness,
Causing well-being and creating calamity;
I am the Lord who does all these."

Proverbs 6:15
"Therefore his calamity will come suddenly;
Instantly he will be broken and there will be no healing."

The Pentecostals and the Evangelicals who are feverishly working to save our country and even the world will learn that they are not in control and that God does not wink at the sin in this nation or the world. So many of these people who say they are Christian are negating more of the Bible than they obey and don't think they are doing it. Sin has become such a way of life with so many that few notice it.

The time is coming soon when God's people, those who follow Christ, will be taken away to be with Him and the world will fly into a tailspin of evil and tragedy nothing like the world has ever seen. This is the time of wrath, there is no turning back, there is no saving a nation.

The only nation that GOD will save is Israel and HE will be the One to do it. Two-thirds of her people will be killed and the one-third left will worship the One true God and His Son Jesus Christ.

Perhaps its time to make every effort to speak of Christ as much as possible before the believers are taken home to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. There will not be many who will listen, because we are living in the days as Noah when no one wants to hear, that does not mean the mandate to speak of Christ has been rescinded. The mandate remains and obedience to it is expected by God.

Mark 16:14-16 "14 Later as they were eating, Jesus appeared to the Eleven and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.…"
