Warnings are Love not Harshness

Today someone thought I was harsh in saying that God has more discipline in store for this country and the world. Here was my response below:

God is going to send people to hell for eternity to burn for their rejection of Him.

God promises in the end times that those who will not trust in Christ will go through the worse tribulation ever imaginable. He mercy is for those who are repentant, not for the unrepentant. Noting I could say would be harsher than what God will do to those who reject Him.

John 12:48
The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.

Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 25:46
And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Revelation 20:15
And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

2 Thessalonians 1:9
They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

Here are only a few warnings from God about the ones who reject God's truth and Christ.

Is it mean or harsh to warn a child not to get to close to the fire because it might burn them?
