May the Christians of this country open their hearts and eyes to the truth. May they stop looking at circumstances and merely words. Let them stop looking to men for their wisdom. We must ask God about everything to see the truth.
Many people in our country today are deeply deceived about so many things. They do most everything according to their emotions.
They will even look at a matter seeing it the way they wish to see it when it is the opposite of the truth.
When we live according to our emotions and desires we will be wrong almost all of the time.
It takes courage to say we might not be evaluating things properly according to the Bible. Why is courage needed? Its simple, when we see things in truth we will need to be ready to lose friends and endure mocking and even admit we were wrong about something.
In our generation, most people hate to think very deeply about anything. They live on cliches and meaningless mantras that make them feel special or superior. This generation hates to admit they may be wrong.
2 Timothy 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but having itching ears, they shall heap to themselves teachers in accordance with their own lusts."
When we have been discerning and we attempt to show others what God is saying, there will be mostly resistance to it in these last days.
If you walk with Christ and you wish to obey Him you will be treated with contempt.
Matthew 10:35-37 "…35 For I have come to turn ‘A man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36 A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ 37 Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me;…"
Why will our families and friends be against us? It is because the majority of the people will not want the truth, they want only their own fantasies. Whether or not they are true doesn't even matter as long as they like them.
Because of these last day's mentalities, there will be little discernment. These people will miss all the clues, even the blatant ones to maintain their illusions.
When we encounter this it is time to give up trying to convince them and let God be the one to affect their hearts.
Mark 6:11
"And if any place will not receive you and they will not listen to you, when you leave, shake off the dust that is on your feet as a testimony against them.”
There is no excuse for someone not to know and understand the truth, all one has to do is ask God.
James 1:4-6 "4 Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.…"
Mark 11:24
"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
