God is disciplining America for all its sin, here are some:
60 million murdered babies,
rampant immorality,
alcoholism,
porn industry that produces for the entire world,
divorce and remarriage and Christians who support these practices
rebellious young people
Addiction to plearure
Anger at correction
lies against the Bible constantly by those who attend church
Self-worship in the form of self-esteem
Addiction to media
Support of sinfulness of adult children
Church acceptance of immorality within their gathering
Continual Scripture twisting to make it say what the ungodly want it to say for their own personal comfort and endorsement of sin.
We are living in apostate times. We deserve whatever God throws at us. I dare anyone to say "God Bless America" after reading about all our sins against Him. How dare we expect anything except punishment from God.
We have no "right" to our freedom or pleasures. Our constitution says it but God didn't say it.
Revelation 21:8
"8 But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Isaiah 59:2
"2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God,
And your sins have hidden His [a]face from you so that He does not hear."
Proverbs 14:34 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
34 Righteousness exalts a nation,
But sin is a disgrace to any people.
Please stop saying "God Bless America", it is agonizing to God to be commanded to bless a nation that has spit in His face for generations while pretending to honor Him. Do those who say this think God must do as we say? He has already blessed God and we have used that blessing to defy Him.
Repent becoming born again, stop clamoring after your freedom and pleasures, and confess the sin of self-idolatry and personal indulgences.
Matthew 15:7-9 "…7 You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: 8‘ These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”…"
