One Cannot Follow Man and Christ Too

If you have been following Calvin then you have not been following Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:3-5 "…3 for you are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and dissension among you, are you not worldly? Are you not walking in the way of man? 4 For when one of you says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere men? 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role.…"If you speak more about Calvin than you do of Christ you have a false god who usurps Christ.

Exodus 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before Me."

Anyone or anything you hold in high regard equal to or above God is an idol to you.

If you quote C.S. Lewis more than Christ then you have a false god.

Both Calvin and C.S. Lewis wrote blasphemies and loved their intellectualism more than Christ. One clue about these two men is that the secular community loves them as much as the apostate Christians. Pagans do not love what God teaches, they love the wisdom of man and despise the wisdom of God.

When a man mixes false gods with Christianity that man has a false Christianity. To mix blasphemies against God with God's Word is to have left only the blasphemies. Mixing evil with good leaves only evil. Mixing poison in with the cake mix will kill someone who eats it.
C.S. Lewis wrote in his writings that Aslan the lion who represented Christ went into a tent with the white witch representing the devil to negotiate the price for sin. This is clear blasphemy. Satan had no part in determining the price for sin, it was God the Father who determined this.

To say that the devil had any part in anything concerning creation or the price for sin is to follow the false teachings of Mormonism in which they say the devil and Jesus Christ were brothers.

C.S. Lewis loved the teachings of the Catholic church, and all other pagan religions, he counted them as equal. Sadly he said some things that we might agree with as Christians but added to those things many pagan teachings that negated the right things he said.

Calvin did exactly the same things as C.S. Lewis, adding the teachings of the Catholic church he left to his Christianity making it a false Christianity.

Matthew 24:24 "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect."

Yes, it is possible to fool Christians who love intellectualism and false signs and wonders.

Those who follow these two men often refuse to look at the evidence of their false Christianity. Their pride to appear superior to others prevents them from looking deeply into the Bible to compare the belief systems of these two men to come to a knowledge of the truth.

Proverbs 14:12
"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death."

Psalm 118:8-9
"It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes."

Matthew 15:14
"Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

Matthew 15:9
"In vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”

Those who would defend these two men adamantly are not following Christ. All that is necessary to learn this is to compare their writings with the Bible. They must stop reading what men say about these men and begin to read the Bible and compare their writings with what God says while praying for wisdom.

James 1:5
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."

This is the warning, now it is the responsibility for all reading this to pray for wisdom and believe God when He speaks.

Ezekiel 33:6-8 "…6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and fails to blow the horn to warn the people, and the sword comes and takes away a life, then that one will be taken away in his iniquity, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.’
7 As for you, O son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word from My mouth and give them warning from Me.
8 If I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to dissuade him from his way, then that wicked man will die in his iniquity, yet I will hold you accountable for his blood.…"
