Lies are the order of the day!!!
The devil is using false news on both sides to manipulate the thinking of people and not in a good way. He is using "news soaps" to intimidate causing fear in people to destroy the faith of Christians.
Why would a non-believer want anything we have when we run around acting fearful and agitated about everything that is happening.
As born again believers ought to bring a different Spirit to the neighborhood, that is one of hope no matter what is happening around us. Our joy does not leave us and our focus is not all the unending controversy and evil going on in the world.
A non-believer ought to be someone who is steady and joyful. One who does not listen to the lies on the internet on either side. Believe me, when I say, much of what I hear is not news, they are made up stories based on the guesses of paranoid people. Sadly many people repeat these stories as facts but have never seen anything for themselves or even know personally someone who knows.
Also, keep in mind that someone can say they saw something and make an interpretation of what they saw that is completely erroneous based on their paranoid mindset, or worse their desire to enjoy drama.
Please believers stay focused on Christ, His principles and praying continually not to be deceased as we move through this ravaged and fallen world. What you think you see may not be at all what you thought. What you think you hear may have been skewed to sell newspapers (figuratively). The political right is no better than the political left, they are both sold out to drama and sensationalism.
My God is Christ, no one or nothing else takes priority over Him.
