God gives us the leaders we deserve!

Even Christians who say they believe the Bible do not follow very much in it. They use it to make themselves feel safe and good, but do not have the mind of Christ, so they are continually whipped to and fro by whatever is going on in the world.
When we see "Christians" acting more like the world, engaging in the same fears of the world only on the other spectrum, they are no different than an unbeliever.
Often Christians are just as fearful about world events as non-believers. This is a mystery to me because if we believe God that we are living in the end times and things are getting worse it ought to make us more joyful. It means we are going home soon.
There is nothing we can do to stop it, but also we should not try to stop it. Our mission is not to make the world or our country what we would like it to be. Our mission is to speak more often of Christ showing the unsaved world that we are not shaken by anything that happens around us or to us, we are strong because Christ lives in us.
When a non-believer who might be fearful sees our hope, our steadiness in the face of trials and joy terminating from us they are more likely to want to know what makes us so confident and cheerful.
Those who are continually complaining about our world, their rights being removed and worried about being controlled by humans are being used of the devil to discourage non-believers. Why would they believe we have anything special when we are as fearful as they are, let it not be so among believers.
Isaiah 41:10
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Joshua 1:9
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Perhaps too many Christians are reading the parts of the Bible that make them feel special about themselves, using it to build pride rather than developing humility.
All of the people who are vitriolic about what is going on in the world, believers and non-believers alike seem angry all the time.
Anger comes out of fear!
Psalm 27:1
"Of David. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"
Psalm 23:4
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
And finally!!!
Philippians 4:6-7
"s about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Do not allow fear, anger, and trepidation ruin your witness to the unsaved!!!!
