It's one thing to express our views openly as we should be able to do, which I fully endorse, and quite another to treat other believers with contempt when they do not do what we do.
I fear none of it, the mask, the vaccine, or the virus. The devil wants believers to walk around frustrated over all of it. I refuse to let him manipulate me like that. God will protect His children through the virus, through the vaccine, and through the mask.
Sadly, some believers are making these things a reason to battle one another. I also refuse to do battle with a brother or sister over something so insignificant as an earthly plague.
I know that sounds strange to say; "insignificant" when so many people are ramped over it all. But in the vast scheme of things with all God's plans it does seem like a small thing compared to what is coming on this earth very soon.
Is the last thing we would want to remember before we leave this world is that we bludgeoned another human being over something God brought upon mankind to discipline and test the world?
May each of us go through this pandemic with graciousness, kindness, and love even under the pressure of differing views. I love people far more than I fear being controlled by a government or contracting a virus. And, I have no desire to control other people through mocking, intimidation and exclusion.
Let us not be like the narcissist who cannot love anyone who thinks differently from them.
Matthew 6:33-34 "…33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own."
Isn't it wonderful how a little of God's Word can bring such peace to any situation!!!!
