The devil is using politics, viruses, entertainment, and every other thing to divide families and friendships. He is placing angry feelings into people irrationally, so they must think up a reason why they don't like someone when there is no reason.
The last few years have been stubbornness, jealousy, hatred, and all the other 2 Timothy 3 traits on steroids. If someone cannot find a legitimate reason to be angry at someone they will make one up.
He is working in the minds of people who are vulnerable, full of sin without hope to accomplish his dastardly deeds.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
"3 This know also, that in the last days perilous (ragingly insane) times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
The good news is that when we see this we are commanded to look up because we will be leaving this place to go home!!!! Our home is in heaven not this earth.
