The Dramatic Growth of Apostsy in the Church in these Last Days

We are watching apostasy grow dramatically in the last few years.
Most people I knew who attended church regularly did not know their Bibles. Many of those who did know some of the Bible misused it according to the culture.
Creeping into the church are ideas that come out of paganism such as psychology based on Darwinism, the book of Enoch, as well as other resources written by men that were not authored by Christ.
The Bible was the only book that Christ authored. When "Christians" begin searching out other books and news sources for their training they will interpret the Bible in terms of those sources instead of evaluating those extra sources according to the Bible.
We are watching most people ready to believe many things that are against the Word of God and Christ Himself because they are placing their trust in man instead of God.
How can anyone say they trust in Christ when they are so willing to be taught by man worldly ideas while neglecting the very book Christ authored.
Deuteronomy 32:18
“You neglected the Rock who begot you,
And forgot the God who gave you birth.
Job 33:14
“Indeed God speaks once,
Or twice, yet no one notices it."
So many people are willing to listen to sources other than the Bible while acting angry when the Bible is spoken to them. Most who say they are a "Bible Believer", really are not because they do not search the Bible for themselves asking the Holy Spirit to give them wisdom.
My prayer many years ago as a new believer was that God would show me the truth even if it meant discarding everything I was taught. An amazing thing happened, my eyes were opened to many things the modern church says and does that negate the Bible while believing their interpretation is what God says, when it is merely man's desire to change God's word to fit their own and the cultures desires.
We should not be surprised when the churches are moving into "WOKE" and other apostate thinking, after all the culture has been changing the meanings in the Bible for a couple of generations to fit their desired belief systems based on Darwinism.
Most of us in the United States were raised in government schools that taught the theory of evolution as written by Darwin. Most people taught this were so influenced by it that their minds cannot wrap around the truth when it is spoken to them.
Even those who say they don't believe in evolution will believe and use many things promoted by Darwin without realizing it.
Psychology gets some things right because they are observing actions, but because the whole idea of psychology is based on Darwin's theory that man is nothing more than animals, it has wrongly assumed that people respond to stimuli the same as animals. The observations are often right but the interpretation of those observations are wrong.
Because animals and humans are very different and respond to stimuli differently the same principles that are used on animals cannot be used on humans. This is why we have such a mess in society today.
Luke 11:42
“But woe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithe of mint and rue and every kind of garden herb, and yet disregard justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others."
Proverbs 8:33
“Heed instruction and be wise,
And do not neglect it."
It would be good to take a good look at all the mantras people use today evaluating them according to the Bible. If we use our own cultural thinking to evaluate what we read then we will negate the Bible.
If we pray and seek the Word of God for truth, then much of what we thought was true will be proven to be false.
One saying that sounded kind was used for a couple of generations to silence correction and disagreement. That saying was "if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all."
It sounds good on the face of it but if someone does not bother to analyze it according to Scripture they very likely will come to the conclusion that we ought never to say anything that will make another person uncomfortable, this would eliminate all correction and instruction because prideful people will feel bad when they have been shown they need to evaluate themselves.
2 TIM 4:2 "Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction."
When we read the word we see that God instructs us to use correction regularly to keep one another on the path to wisdom. Without this correction and instruction we become the culture we are right now. Hypersensitive to correction and rebuke, ignoring and worse violently rejecting and exhortation rather than embracing it to improve ourselves.
The idea that we must forgive unrepentant persons for our own sake, is not from the Bible, it is straight out of the psychology handbook. God requires repentance for us to reconcile with Him and He requires confession of sin to reconcile human relationships true. Even just a cursory study of the Bible on this subject easily dismisses the forgiveness without repentance concept.
Many things like these two examples have infiltrated our gatherings, causing Christians to act more ungodly than godly as well as causing angst among the brethren.
Satan is very clever, he sneaks in phrases and attitudes that sound good but only leads believers away from Christ. His goal has been to get mankind to focus almost entirely on feelings, when this happens the culture can no longer think rationally. Feelings are not a measure of truth, often they are based on our personal desires and cannot be objective concerning God's truth.
2 THES 3:14 "And if anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of that man and do not associate with him, so that he may be put to shame, 2:15 And yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother."
When we begin searching for truth through the Bible and Holy Spirit direction we see just how apostate our Christian churches have become.
Bottom Line: Trust Christ and His Word, not the teachers, they are all tainted by the culture now. Some may be squarely on without teaching error bu those teachers are rare. Keep focused on Christ.
