Rejected by Christ or Rejected by People We must Choose

Matthew 5:13, says, “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.”
Losing saltiness in the Bible means to become foolish, useless and even detract from God.
Losing saltiness is due to a mixture of other chemicals that dilute it.
Perhaps this has application for the believer who has allowed the ways of the world to infiltrate their thinking, even shape their attitudes to those of the world through continual contact with ungodly and worldly-minded people, and false doctrine.
When a Christian becomes "saltless" they have lost the ability to preserve the gospel and maintain the truth of God's principles.
There are many professed Christians who have little interest and are even embarrassed to speak of the Lord Jesus Christ. They are careful not to mention Him on social media, speak of him to neighbors and friends, worried silly if they do they will be rejected. Perhaps because many of these people have rejected others for disagreeing with them they think others will do the same to them.
In other words, being rejected in the family or community is more important to them than being rejected by Jesus Christ.
Matthew 10:32-34 "32 Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven. 34 Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.…"
Mark 8:38
"If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in His Father's glory with the holy angels."
2 Timothy 2:12
"if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us;"
