Titus 3:10-11
"A man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself."
When we meet someone who rages at the gospel and is refuses to listen to the truth we have met a heretic, just as God told us in these verses. We are not to hang around with them hoping they will catch what we have in Christ. We are to move on and perhaps pray for them but not make them our close friends.
So many believers are so invested in having companions that they are willing to keep mean-spirited God-haters out of fear of being seen as unkind for rejecting them as friends, but wait a minute, God told us to reject them.
Do we do what God said to do or do we allow ourselves to be influenced by the culture that tells us something different?
We do no harm to anyone, we pray often but that does not mean having friendships with people who hate God.
Romans 1:29-32
"29 people having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, and evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice; they are gossips,
30 slanderers, [a]haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,
31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unfeeling, and unmerciful;
32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them."
