One of the most absurd teachings in our day is taken from the fictional book of Enoch concerning the nephilim and devils. It is blasphemy to assign to devils the same ability as Father God to place His Son, Jesus Christ, in a body in Mary's womb.
What was the devil's main objective? He wanted to become as powerful as God. Since he could not do that, he pretended to do so, deceiving the people God created into believing the devil is as powerful as God the Father.
And now he has deceived many prominent preachers that devils mated with human women and created giants. The Bible does not teach this at all, but sadly, because people will not pray and ask God to expose false teaching, they believe the false teachers.
It is an easy matter when we look at simple evidence from the Bible that angels and demons do not procreate among themselves; where would they get the seed to impregnate a woman?
God said when He created the animals they each only procreated with their own kind. Cats do not mate with dogs, elephants do not mate with tigers and so on. How much more silly to say that spirit beings who don't even mate with each other would mate with human flesh.
It is total nonsense that devils mated with humans and yet this lie has been accepted by many modern teachers today.
Something is seriously wrong in the Christian culture when blasphemous lies can be taught and most people in the churches are accepting it.
Perhaps most people love the intrigue of myths and refuse to ask God what is truth and what is not. Mixing myth with truth is devastating to evangelism.
1 Timothy 4:3-5 "…3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."
The challenge is to ask God for truth, even if you find yourself going against your Christian culture, to believe only truth!!!!
