When God said that His church would be snatched away in the twinkling of an eye, this is what He was telling us.
Meaning it would be so fast- a violent snatching, instantly. In an instant we are here, and then there. It cannot be measured in our time.
We will not be floating up as the pictures show, but it will still be just as exciting.
Our eyes twinkle this fast: between 0.1 and 0.4 seconds, not even a full second, a fraction of a second.
We do not make the choice to go up in the rapture; God makes it for us. Just as He transforms us into a new creation when we become born again, we do not transform ourselves; He does that to us.
Ephesians 2:9-10 "…9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life."
Those who think they are changing themselves, depending on their own effort, are not saved and are missing out on the miracle of His transformation in us.
When we trust in Christ, we know He does all the work of transformation in us, grows us and then takes us home when it is time to go. He does it all, all we do is trust in Him.
Hallelujah!!!!
