Narcissists see "victims" as weak which is why they pretend to be the strong one when they are not strong. If they were strong they wouldn't feel the need to demean others to elevate themselves.
We are not victims even though we may be targets. To remain strong when under attack takes the Holy Spirit work in our lives. The prophets of old were as picked on as is possible to be but they continued doing what God assigned them because He was their focus.
When our focus is Christ we do not have to be controlled and manipulated by others. Anyone who will not be our friend unless they can control us is no friend at all. These people need to see our boundaries and remove themselves if they refuse to honor them. If they refuse to remove themselves then we can remove them.
Do not bother attempting to prove to a narcissist that what they believe about us is not true, they never listen and if they happen to listen they do so to have information to twist and mock.
If they will not go away, remove the narcissist trouble maker by blocking them on phones, e-mails and visits. Never be available to them to continue their nonsense. If you live in the same town and cannot get away, then consider moving to another town or another state.
Matthew 10:34-37
"“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."
When we cannot leave family to follow Christ, then those family members are idols to us. Far too many people remain with family members who want nothing to do with Christ, diminishing their walk with Him.
Luke 14:33
"So therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple."
If anyone has placed extended family above their spouse, they have a family idol and are disobedient to the word.
Ephesians 5:31
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”
If family members have heard the gospel and rejected it or have claimed to be Christian but remain superficial trouble makers, then we are commanded to move on to follow Christ without them.
Matthew 7:21-23
"21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"
Bottom Line: Follow Christ even if you have to do it all alone. God will bring people to us as He sees the timing is right, we must trust Him.

The lies that narcissists tell are usually guesses about you based on what they want to believe about you. It is always peppered with a little bit of truth so that it is more believable. They will say you were at the bar in the middle of the day when they know you don't go to those places. They saw your car in the parking lot across the street from a rummage sale, so you parked across the street in an empty parking lot.
There was no room in the parking lot at the rummage sale on a Saturday morning when the bar isn't even open. But they will tell all the relatives that you were hanging out at the bar on a Saturday morning when you were not there at all. This actually happened to me. I have had so many lies just like this told against me that my reputation with the relatives is shot. The problem is that when the flying monkeys hear the truth they refuse to believe it because they first heard the account of the narcissist whom they elevate. It is positively diabolical, when we see this happening and we cannot change anyone's mind, that is when to expunge them from our lives. They will keep doing it, over and over again. It is better for them not to know anything to have to make up whole lies than to have little information and use half truths.

Speak about Him Often Ladies
There are those who are attempting to keep women from speaking truth on Facebook. They are under the dilution that woman should never speak about the Lord anywhere, not even to other women. This explains why so many women seem to have nothing to say about the Lord.
There is nothing in the Bible that says that women cannot speak the gospel to men. Women are not to lead in the church meetings but they can share as long as their heads are covered. They can pray out loud as well as long as they are covered. 1 Corinthians 11.
When you look at the original Greek the women are not to chatter, visit and disrupt with chaos in the gathering, that's why Paul said they can ask their own husbands at home. It was during a time when women were not educated.
The same men who say women should not speak about the Lord say nothing about the head covering that God did mandate for the believing woman.
Every man who loves the Lord should be excited about a woman who loves to speak of Him. It doesn't matter who it is coming from as long as it is the truth that is spoken.
Men have been in charge of the churches for 200 years and look where they have taken us, that is into apostasy and false teaching. Women were not the leaders when this was happening, even though there were some, most were men that did this.
The mandate for men to lead in the church was clear, but it did not exclude the women from speaking at all as long as she was covered. Let's be careful not to inculcate into the teachings more than what God actually said.

Not Fighting Against Flesh and Blood
The war will be non-believer against believer right in our own communities and families. The war is really brought on by the devils whispering in the minds of people dilutions and lies to make people rage against one another, even when there is no good reason. I am seeing an increase in this irrational mentality and I am convinced it is the devils controlling the thoughts of people.

The Wise Verses the Wicked
A wise person receives a chastisement or instruction as an opportunity to learn about themselves and grow spiritually and emotionally.
A prideful person takes a chastisement or instruction as a personal attack. There is no spiritual or emotional growth in the prideful person, only growing anger and resentment.
Proverbs 12:1-2 "1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. 2 The good man obtains favor from the LORD, but the LORD condemns a man who devises evil.…"

Confess and Let God Deal with It
There will be those who attempt to deny that God has changed us. They want to intimidate us into silence by bringing up past sins or at least treating us with contempt because of our past sins, do not take this in to your soul
Those who would hold past sins against others must believe they have never sinned or they would not be so inclined as to accuse us of ours.
When we have been freed from the guilt of our past sins through confession and God's forgiveness, we no longer need to revisit those sins in our minds or listen to others who want to continually treat us as though there has been no change in us.
The devil uses wicked and unforgiven people to torment us with false guilt over something that no longer exists. Perhaps these people have not been forgiven and do not experience the joy of freedom from sin, therefore they must believe we are no better than they.
I have two encouragements, one for the believe and one for the non-believer who judges others based on past sin.
The first encouragement is for those who are believers and who have been cleansed of their sin. When we believe God, that He has cleansed us we no longer have to indulge in self pity or false guilt we can leave it where it belongs, that is in the past. We also have no obligation to keep in our lives those who wish to continually deny what Christ did in us. They will gossip, they will lie and they will treat us with contempt, but it can roll off like water off a ducks back. Remove yourselves from those who have nothing but destruction in mind for us through false guilt.
The second encouragement is for the lost person who holds sin against others. This person can be free from their sin too. They can confess their sin of self righteousness, pride and cruelty toward believers and become born again by asking the Lord to change them into a new creation. The one who accuses others of past forgiven sins remains in their sin until they confess it and are cleansed by Christ.
This is the good news for the unbeliever, they can be free of their damnable pride and thoughts of superiority simply by admitting what they are and asking to be cleansed.
Its all so very simple, the key is to just believe God.
1 John 1:9 "9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
The key is that one must confess the sin and want it dealt with by Christ.

"I would spend 45-50 minutes on the negative to really show him his dilema----that is he is morally dead....then I'd take 10-15 minutes to preach the gospel."
"I believe that much of our evangelistic and personal work today is not clear simply because we are too anxious to get to the answer without having a man realize the real cause of his sickness, which is true moral guilt (and not just psytcho-logical guilt feelings) in the presence of God."

In our day we have been indoctrinated to believe that we must get people to like us before we can delicately and carefully share a watered down and happy gospel. This could not be farther from the truth.
It is rational to believe based on Scripture that most people will be angered when they are told they are sinful and on their way to hell.
In our day we have been led to believe that if someone becomes angry or rages at us, we must have done something wrong. The idea that people get mad even when we did nothing wrong, has been lost.
We see people becoming enraged frequently these days over the smallest perceived slights. I say "perceived" because often there is no slight, only one that has been contrived in the mind of the one who rages.
If you have read many of my articles you would know that I believe strongly in the influence of devils in the minds of people. Not possession but influence into the minds of those who have no defense against him.
Most people today in this age of self worship are only interested in being loved and elevated by others. Because of this mentality we see people deeply offended by the smallest correction or disagreement. It is the need for self aggrandizement that causes people to be unable to hear anything but praise.
This love of self brings a false gospel of outward peace but no inner peace. It manages to flatter those who love themselves without any possibility of the necessary warnings God speaks about throughout His Word.
Ezekiel 3:17-19 "…17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me. 18 If I say to the wicked man, ‘You will surely die ,’ but you do not warn him or speak out to warn him from his wicked way to save his life, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, and I will hold you responsible for his blood. 19 But if you warn a wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness and his wicked way, he will die in his iniquity, but you will have saved yourself.…"
Mature and humble people are able to accept a disagreement or a chastisement and grow from it. It is the insecure self worshiper who cannot receive what might be best for them in the long term.
