Reading the Bible to Discover God's Heart!

Most Christians today do not read the Bible to find the heart of God, they read it to see what they can praise themselves about and reject the things they don't like in it.

We are living in the days of deep deception and resistance to the truth. Stubbornness is more prominent than humility.

Proverbs 29:1

"He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing."

Psalm 81:11-12

“But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me. So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels."

The last verse was written to Israel but applies to us today too. We are a stubborn nation who will not listen to reproof or correction, even becoming angry when chastised for ignoring God's Word.

This country has nothing to be proud about, rather this country should be ashamed and broken over the sin that abounds here. I understand that its the entire world now but I live in this country so it is what I address here.

We do not deserve good leaders, we deserve what God has given us, that is wicked leaders who care nothing about the people. Now we can experience toward us what we have dished out toward others, family and community.

Zechariah 11:4-6

"4 This is what the Lord my God says: “Pasture the flock doomed to slaughter.

5 Those who buy them slaughter them and go unpunished, and each of those who sell them says, ‘Blessed be the Lord, for I have become rich!’ And their own shepherds have no compassion for them.

6 For I will no longer have compassion for the inhabitants of the land,” declares the Lord; “but behold, I will let the people fall, each into another’s power and into the power of his king; and they will crush the land, and I will not rescue them from their power.”

This passage was not written to us but it was written for our understanding of the way God operates with nations when they refuse to listen to Him.

We are not safe in this nation, we are not protected by God, we have been given over to our lust for power, pleasure, and wealth and it is ruining us. This is a judgment against us. Anyone who thinks we are "doing well" as a nation is believing what they wish to believe and not what is real.

Proverbs 14:34

"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people."

The sin of pride has filled our nation, the very same pride that got the devil and his minions thrown out of heaven.

Isaiah 59:2

"But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear."

Our nation has indulged in "cultural Christianity" from the beginning, thinking going to church gatherings helps us be better people, but without a dedication to the Word of God and to Christ, Who is the Word.

From the beginning, "cultural Christianity" served us well in terms of keeping outward sin at bay making it a better way to live, but the hearts of many remained proud about how good they thought they were. They believed the "being good" was saving them but in fact, it was leading them further into pride in self while turning their back on Christ. Self-exaltation became the norm while Christ was ignored and pushed away in favor of the traditions of man that made those who followed the rules feel special.

Romans 6:23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

So here we are today, having progressed the logical end of this sort of thinking, deeply entrenched in 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

There is only one hope for individuals of this nation and that is 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

The entire nation will not do this but individuals can confess their pride and sinful self-worship and become born again. Yes, the nation is going to fall but those who trust in Christ will be saved from hell and their sin and that is what matters.

If those who are prideful about their country would stop worrying about "making America great again" and begin evaluating their own hearts they might see their own need for repentance from that pride.

Yes, our country, America, is number one in the world, it is number one in every evil thing possible, there is nothing to be proud about.

America's Freedoms Have Led to Debauchery

I understand that we are used to our freedoms in America, however many countries of the world do not have the freedoms we have and yet the believers there follow Christ.

I am quite sure the Israelites didn't like the Egyptians using them as slaves and yet it was God's will.

There may come a time when we no longer have the privilege of redress of grievances and will be living as the Afghans have to live, under a regime that does not allow any freedoms.

Would we be able to love Christ and each other without complaining about the loss of freedom?

Complaining would be useless because it would change nothing. We would be forced to focus on Christ and pray more, but not for freedom, for the unsaved to become born again.

We Americans have been spoiled all these few generations believing that we ran the government and must maintain our freedom at all costs. Freedom and wealth became our god. I know, I have lived here all my years and watched how fervently the people have fought to preserve their right to sin.

God has different plans for America, we are under judgment right now because of the sin we have enjoyed and worse yet disseminated all over the world. We are the world provider of filth in the form of television, movies, and pornography.

If you do not think we are under judgment just take a look at the broken families, the rebellious young people, and the spirit of anger that is all around us when we speak the truth of God. God is allowing our own sins to ruin us, the consequences of murdered babies, a falling financial system, the ruination of the minds of the children through government school indoctrination, and much more. We have lived in this mess so long we think it's normal, and sadly it is normal for this day but it is terribly wicked.

Revelation 3:16-17 "…16 So because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to vomit you out of My mouth! 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have grown wealthy and need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked."

God has blessed us only to show us what happens when we place our trust in the blessings instead of in Him.

As a nation, we have turned our backs on His Word and perverted the gospel for personal gain. Many have disobeyed the scriptures more than they obey them. They have twisted His word to say what they want it to say rather than what He actually meant.

To add to the abominations pretenders have verbally bludgeoned those who would correct their false doctrine and beliefs to bring them back to obedience. Those who speak the truth have been rejected, treated disrespectfully, and maligned by those who love their sin.

America needs to repent but it will not. When the sin becomes this entrenched and accepted by even the church we know there will not be repentance, but there will be more and is now judgment.

Pride Drives Bad Decisions

1 Corinthians 9:19-23

…21 To those without the law I became like one without the law (though I am not outside the law of God but am under the law of Christ), to win those without the law.

22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.

23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, so that I may share in its blessings."

This passage pertains to anything that is not sin. If someone says to take off your shoes in their home, I would take off my shoes. If someone says you must wear a mask to visit me then I would wear a mask. This is so that little things will not be a distraction to the gospel and to maintain peace with others.

Born again believers ought to be so saturated with the gospel that everything they say and do would be in light of that, living, breathing, and speaking Bibleese.

We do not fear mandates or laws that seem unjust because Christ lives in us, we are not in bondage to our "rights" or "pleasures", we are bondservants of Christ. If He places us under a law or a rule to bring glory to Himself, then so be it.

We must remember that all authority good or bad has been placed by God. Perhaps to show us we have no power without Christ. In Christ we are free even if we are jailed, we are free.

We remain free as we move about the culture under the rules and laws of the government. Our freedom is not in physical terms, it is Spiritual and far more valuable than the things we think we want for ourselves.

Romans 14:2

"For one person has faith to eat all things, while another, who is weak, eats only vegetables."

Even with food, some people worry continually about what they eat, God says they lack faith, and yet we are commanded to love them. Some people eat all things without worrying, we are commanded to love them too.

Some people wear masks and get the vaccine, we are to love them, some do not wear masks and do not get the vaccine, we are to love them too.

We are not to allow these superficial physical matters to get in the way of our loving fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Satan loves to cause fighting, biting, and devouring within the people of God, let's not allow him to do it.

Romans 15:1

"We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves."

1Corinthians 10:33

"Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved."

Let's not let pride drive any of our decisions!

A Prayer of Hope!

The Lord gave me a prayer this morning, a prayer that He knows is needed in these times of turmoil.

Heavenly Father,

I ask you to rebuke the spirit of fear brought on by the enemy of our soul working division and fighting among the believers in your Son and our Lord Jesus Christ.

The spirit of the fear of the virus, the vaccine, the government, the mask, the loss of personal freedom, the fear of not having what we want when we want it the way we want it. Fear driving every word and action dividing those who ought to be loving one another, supporting one another, and ignoring the wickedness of the world in favor of focusing on the goodness of Christ.

Lord Your word says;

Philippians 4:8

"8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is [a]lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things."

Lord, there is more talk of the details of evil going on among the believers than there is about your glory, our salvation, and our hope. The hope of many is being diminished and ruined because of this gripping fear talk.

This fear is ruining relationships, families, and whole communities. It is driving chaos, misery, and disobedience against you, our Lord. May you convict the brethren of this fear, this division, and this diminishment of our witness among unbelievers.

Believers are snappish and willful toward those in authority walking in anger continually while displaying a spirit of contention that brings hurt to the unbelievers. Lord, we know many walk in fear and we compound their hopelessness by asserting "our rights" and our "willfulness."

Lord, we know the witness of our brethren for Christ in this world right before the rapture is being reduced because of these fears. The enemy of our soul, Satan is working to ruin the witness by keeping our focus on things that do not matter nor have any value for eternity.

We know Lord it is the steadiness, hope, and joy of the believer walking in this wicked world that is our witness to Your greatness and holiness. When we walk in such fear continually we give the world no reason to believe You are the better and only way to the Father. You are our hope, You can bring peace and joy to the troubled heart.

Lord, you instruct us to be patient in tribulation, not to be agitated, angry and fearful.

Romans 15:13

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

Romans 12:12

"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."

Isaiah 40:31

"But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."

Lord may those who call themselves by Your name remember their first love, their hope, and their calling during these last days. May we be a beacon of joy and hope for those who have no hope, they need to see in us great hope and joy in the hardest of times.

May we remember our calling, that is to be a witness of Christ no matter what we must endure. May we be strong and sacrificial as we give up our rights, our desires, and our pleasures to embrace our brethren in love while showing the world we have something special that they need, that is Jesus Christ. Let us not become like them, walking in fear and anger.

Lord, I know nothing has to rattle us, nothing has to control our emotions or reduce our joy, because we have the King of Kings living in us. You are all glory and honor, You are all hope for us and for the lost world who has no hope now. Let us be a witness to Your glory, kindness, love and hope!!!! Hallelujah!!!! Amen!!!!!

Psalm 33:20-22

"20 Our soul waits for the Lord;

He is our help and our shield.

21 For our heart rejoices in Him,

Because we trust in His holy name.

22 Let Your favor, Lord, be upon us,"

Ignore the Media Except for the Weather

Matthew 24:24 "For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

If you think believers cannot be deceived as born-again believers, think again. Many are being deceived right now by media, left and right wings, both.

It would be best to avoid the media except for the weather and focus on the Bible and prayer to know the will of God in your lives.

Going Home at the Feast of Trumpets?

I am convinced that our Lord will return for His bride on the feast of trumpets one of these years soon. The feast of Trumpets is coming up September 6th-8th of this year.

Many years ago the Jews who were scattered around the world would say to one another "next year in Jerusalem" knowing that one day they would have their nation back again. This happened in 1948 what a time of rejoicing that was for many Jewish people.

Now as born-again believers we can say, "next year the rapture", knowing that it could happen at any time.

We do not know the day or the hour because it will happen on one of those three days. God said we will know the season of His return of which we are now in this present time of the return of Israel as a nation in 1948.

It makes no sense to me to waste our time attempting to save a dying nation that will be a part of the one-world government system of the antichrist when we know what is prophesied.

We are living in those last days when soon the church will be taken out and the final souls will be saved, it will be finished.

Then the Lord will turn His attention back to the nation of Israel for the final 7-year tribulation during which time when two-thirds of the Jewish people will be destroyed and the remaining one-third will trust Christ and preach the gospel to the remaining world.

This is the time we must be speaking about Christ to others as well as encouraging believers to not become weary. The more believers focus on this world the more useless and discouraged they will become. When we focus on Christ, obey what He has for us to do the more hope we have as well as the proper perspective of the end times.

Brothers and Sisters we are going home soon. Perhaps this year in September, if not Perhaps "next year at the feast of the Trumpets."

Follow Christ not the World

Please, I beg those of you who are following "Qanon" to ask God to show you what is wrong with it. God has warned me not to have anything to do with this cultic group or any other group in our days of deep deception.

One of the reasons born-again believers many years ago were not joining organizations like the "Masons" was because it was a secret organization. Why all of a sudden the Christian church is following an anonymous group that doesn't seem to be accountable to anyone.

While those who are crying out, "deception everywhere" they are buying into other deceptions, the ones they happen to like.

I see so many people fighting and arguing with people over things they really know nothing about and yet believe all they hear from these satanic deceptions.

When they are asked to prove it they say they have it from good information, yet the information is given secretly.

I refuse to listen to anonymous sources who can make up anything they like without evidence except their say-so. This is a problem for me.

I am called to know the word of God, avoid gossip and red journalism and follow Christ only. I do not follow any group, any man or any leader, or any reporter, I follow Christ only!

I have no need to dig deeper into the evils of this world that I wouldn't even know about except for television and the internet. My challenge to everyone who is born again is to stop listening to these secret groups and all the reports and spend a month just praying, I guarantee your perspective will change. I say that because news and gossip is addictive, the more one engages with it the more they want.

Fear is gripping so many people who read these unfounded articles made up by those who wish to control them. They are being controlled by the devil to think continually about false things that they spend more time on these bogus reports than they think about Christ. These people are becoming meaner, ruder, and less empathetic than I have ever seen in this culture. They are causing division over worldly things rather than uplifting one another in the Word.

Satan likes nothing better than to hype people up, distracting them from His Word while causing anger and contention within the church. He is dividing families, communities and every other venue over this virus, politics and the vaccine.

We need not fear the virus, the vaccine, the politics or anything else that is going on in the world, we are children of the King, He wins and our job is to stay focused on Him while obeying what He tells us to do.

If you are going to fight for your rights you will be disobeying the Word of God, we are to be about His business and trust that He will take care of us.

I have been spoken to disrespectfully over this virus, the vaccine, the politics, and much more that has nothing to do with our calling to speak the Word of God in these last days before Christ comes.

I will not "research" evil, politics, and other things that prevent me from the gospel. In these last days of deception, there is deception on both sides, liberal and conservative. Pride is at the root of all of this mess and the devil is behind it. Are we going to allow the devil to destroy our relationships over things that are probably not even true or that cannot be proven?

Ask anyone following these talk show hosts how they know they are hearing the truth, they cannot tell you, they simply believe whatever these hosts tell them.

God will tell us what we need when we need to know it, we have no need to go looking for smut and dirt to dwell upon ruining our peace, joy, and Spirituality.

Please brothers and sisters let's get our mind back on Christ, the gospel, and learning how to walk righteously so as to be an influence for Christ in the World. Let's allow others to see the love and joy, the self-sacrifice and servents heart as we live out our personal lives in obedience to Christ. Let's put off the arguing, tenseness, and anger and replace it with the Spirit of Christ.

Above all, let's pray that God will reveal anything we believe that is not true. May He expunge from our hearts the lies the world has inculcated into them.

Satan is laughing because of all the lies and trouble he is making everywhere on both sides. Let's destroy his laughter and denounce his lies.
