Preparing to be Raptured!

The only preparation necessary to be raptured when Christ returns is to have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. I notice that the closer we get to being raptured the more the authentic believers are "looking up" as God commanded us to do. We are in joyful expectation of being with our Husband, as the bride of Christ.
Luke 21:27-29 "…27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” 29 Then Jesus told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees.…"
God told us to look up and keep our focus on Him, not looking around to all that is happening, allowing it to wreak havoc on our emotions while destroying relationships over things we have not seen for ourselves and cannot authentically prove. Christians should not be worried or downcast during these times. We ought to be a beacon of light and hope during the darkest of times.
Romans 16:17-18
"I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive."
Psalm 109:2-4
"For wicked and deceitful mouths are opened against me, speaking against me with lying tongues. They encircle me with words of hate, and attack me without cause. In return for my love they accuse me, but I give myself to prayer."
What does God say our response to all this mess? We are to resist the devil and give ourselves to prayer.
James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Do not look around, or sideways or down, but look up as we are commanded to do!!!! Hallelujah

Demonic Conspiracy Theory Lies: Ignore Them and Love God Only

Amen! Demonic activity is rampant even in churches today. If he cannot cause unbelief in someone he will lie against the nature and character of God as he did with Eve. He convinced her that she could be her own god, knowing what God knows. She fell for it and so have many people in the churches today. They follow demonic doctrines and believe they are following God.
1 Timothy 4:1
"4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;"
2 Timothy 3:12-14 "…12 Indeed, all who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evil men and imposters go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in the things you have learned and firmly believed, since you know from whom you have learned them.…"
We have those in the church today who are attempting to divert our attention from Christ and place it on the details of evil in this world. They will even be angry with those who do not engage in conspiracy theories with them.
They will accuse us of being "uninformed" as though it is real information from these cultic political news sights. These people have been deceived and intimidated to believe things that are not even true as a means of distracting the brethren from Christ.
In turn, those who follow these cultic entities use mocking and intimidation on others to shame them into capitulating to follow their ways. The devil is very clever in his tactics to divide the church over lies and brainwashing.
Do not allow those who have left the narrow road to follow the wide one to intimidate you into endorsing their foolish endeavors.
Isaiah 44:20
"He feeds on ashes. His deluded heart has led him astray, and he cannot deliver himself or say, "Is not this thing in my right hand a lie?"
And yes!!!! You will be alone often, even maligned by others for resisting the pull to agree with these cults. You will be mocked for "not being informed", it is the devils tactic to draw us into foolishness and deter us from our Christian walk, do everything to resist it, even if it means removing someone from your life who will not relent from their rantings about the secret knowledge they believe they have found on the internet.
James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
It is quite common for those who follow these cults to refuse to listen, refuse to allow you to speak the truth and fight and argue against you to shut you down. Keep speaking, if those hearing refuse to listen remove yourself and move on to others who might be saved from the cult that has captured their heart.
Expect isolation, rejection, and mocking, it is the favored tactic of the devil to attack your emotions to weaken you. We do not have to be emotional about losing someone if we love God more than we love men. We can grieve at the road they have chosen, but we must not feel bad about losing a friend who does not care about loving God or us.
We must keep our focus, that is on Jesus Christ and our calling on this earth, which is the gospel and living as those who follow Christ. Do not allow anyone to deter you from that calling!
1 Corinthians 1:26
"For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble;"
Romans 10:13
"for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Ephesians 4:1
"Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called,"
They will say to you, "you must be informed about all the evil in the world", resist believing this lie from the devil.
Isaiah 5:20
"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!"

God Calls it Murder

The Lord has been showing me many things over the past decades the nature and tactics of the narcissist, exactly how the devil would act if you could see Him using the narcissist.
It seems that narcissists will interpret our comments and actions in terms of what they would be thinking and feeling if they did the same thing.
They interpret our good deeds as manipulative because they would be manipulating if they did the same deeds. They interpret our mild and friendly corrections as attacks because if they were correcting us they would be attacking.
Another common aspect of narcissistic character is to cloak their personal attacks in joking language so as to make us look unhinged when we don't laugh.
I cannot tell you the number of times in my narcissistic family when someone joked about my weight, my hair, the ways I did things, even when nothing was wrong with any of it. You might say "well, maybe they were really joking", but you must understand that they never joked about themselves and the joking about me was to make me look inept in some way.
One can tell the difference between a friendly joke to tease and continual put-downs to demean. I enjoy those little jokes that kind-hearted people do when they are bonding with us. This is not the same as those mean-spirited attacks from narcissists to make us feel less than while at the same time hoping we will respond badly so they can call us the problem.
One way of demeaning a person covertly is to claim we are "too sensitive" when we act dismayed at the attack. A kind person would never joke in this way and they definitely would never say "YOUR too sensitive." The problem now becomes us who did nothing wrong making the rudeness of the narcissist seem right and reasonable and us as overreacting for merely not laughing.
A kind person would feel bad that they hurt someone else, rather than making you appear stupid for not appreciating their joke at your expense.
When a person demeans you and they are not only not sorry, they make you look foolish for not accepting their rudeness, we know their heart of deceit and an attitude of murder.
Yes, I said that, murder is at the root of all attacks upon ones character for no other reason than for the narcissist to be elevated above their target. The attitude of the narcissist is one of hatred, which God calls murder.
1 John 3:15 "Everyone who hates his brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him."
We are seeing a rise in narcissism in our day when the attacker is protected and the victim is told to "suck it up" so as not to cause trouble.
I find it interesting that the one who was rude is protected because they are the hurting one, but the one who is attacked is supposed to feel sorry for the attacker. This all comes from the foolish psychological idea that "hurting people hurt people." This is backward and unbiblical.
Pressure is placed on the victim to forgive when the perp is not sorry, but no one places pressure on the perp to repent from his rudeness.
Satan loves that the victims of mean people are further abused by others for not putting up with abuse. He also loves that the abusers expect to automatically be forgiven, even justifying their deplorable attitude, a form of enabling, which further hardens the heart of the abuser. It is less likely that an abuser will repent when his actions have been accepted through silence.
It makes no biblical sense that anyone would comfort the abuser and pressure the victim to do and say nothing in defense of themselves.
Proverbs 27:5-6
"5 Better is open rebuke
Than love that is concealed.
6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend,
But [a]deceitful are the kisses of an enemy."
Matthew 18:15 "If Your Brother Sins Against You
15 “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother."
If we love the narcissist we tell them the truth and give them the opportunity to repent.
If we love the victim we believe them, encourage them to focus on Christ Who is the healer. What we do not do is tell them they didn't see it correctly, or they should have been more forgiving. Those words are words of judgment about the situation we did not see for ourselves, we have no business assuming what could have been when we were not there to see it.
Far too many people evaluate the situations of others based on their own mindsets. They have not been through the same things so they assume no one else has gone through them either.
It is arrogance and desire at the root of the further abuse of victims through denial of what happened. To assume that someone was seeing the events wrongly and really should feel anything about it is nothing more than the enabler's desire to make the whole thing go away so they don't have to feel bad or do anything in support of the victim. Those who are enablers are lazy people, their own comfort and ease drive them to deny what they refuse to see.
The number one purpose of this article is to encourage the born-again believer who is a victim of narcissists to seek God's answers for their pain. When we cry out to Him, when there is no one else who sees or will believe us, then we can gain great peace from knowing how the narcissist operates and that we were not the problem as the narcissist so desperately needs us to believe.
The second reason for this article is to help those who have narcissistic tendencies to repent to be cleansed by God before they turn into malignant narcissists. If they do not repent they will become hardened of heart to the point of no return.
I have known people who had deeply narcissistic tendencies who became worse as they grew older. The more we resist correction from God the more we grow in wickedness.
One cannot grow or change until they can admit their flaws and repent to be cleansed. There is no reason to resist this repentance except pride preventing it.
The wonderful provision of God for mankind was so simple and such a blessing it is insanity to resist it.
1 John 1:9
"9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
All that this necessary for someone to be born again and cleansed from sin is to confess their sinfulness and ask God to change them into a new creation, this is the "believing" that occurs when we believe in what Christ did on that cross for us and desire for Him to change us He will do it.
Romans 10:9
"that if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
It is so easy, but impossible for anyone to hold onto their pride and rebellion when they trust in Christ.

Stop Wearing Ungodly Things...

His Will or Your Own?

The devil convinced Eve that God was not on her side, that His one rule to not touch the tree was keeping her from something good.
In our day he is convincing "Christians" that we don't have to follow the principles of the Bible. They think they can choose what they obey in the Word and that if they wish they can even twist it to make it say what they desire to believe.
The Christian churches are full of those who enjoy fantasy thinking. If they like something they find scripture to manipulate and claim their favored idea is Biblical.
John 14:14-15 "14 If you ask Me for anything in My name, I will do it. 15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."
Many Pentecostals use the 14th verse in John 14 to justify saying they are promised whatever they want. As long as they want it and ask for it they will get it, it does not even have to be God's will. It can even be disobedience to God and still be blessed by Him.
But notice the next verse, the 15th which clearly states the condition for receiving what we ask for, that is, "if you love me you WILL keep my commandments."
John 14:21
"Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him."
God does not reveal Himself to those who are rebellious and disobedient. He gives the desires of the believer to them when their desires line up with His will.
John 14:23
"Jesus replied, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him."
There is no question here, if we do not love God more than we love ourselves He will not answer our prayers. The only prayer He will answer to the disobedient person is the prayer of sorrow over sin to be cleansed by Him. For the unbeliever, the only prayer God will answer is the prayer of repentance to be changed into a new creation by Him.
You see, it's all about Him, our only response is to obey Him. We must empty ourselves of self-will but it only can be done if Christ intervenes because we want Him to change us.
2 John 1:6
"And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the very commandment you have heard from the beginning, that you must walk in love."
So then, how do we love God? By keeping His commandments is the answer. How do we love others? The same answer applies here too, that we keep His commandments.
1 John 2:6
"Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked."
1 Corinthians 11:1
"Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ."
Ephesians 2:10
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
Romans 12:1–2
"12 I appeal to you, therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…"
Does it say in any of these verses to demand from Him what you want and He has to give it to you? NO, they do say that we are to conform to Him and then our desires will be His will.
John 3:30
"30 He must increase, but I must decrease.”
The goal for the born-again believer ought to be to become more like Christ, learning the lessons He has for us so that we can more fully serve Him.
What a joy and pleasure life is when we are in the center of God's will for us.
How silly it is to think we know better about our lives than Christ Who created us. Just like children who think they should be allowed to eat candy all day long and not be sick, we often have expectations of God that is not His will.
Submit to God, seek His heart and His will, and then we will become close to Him, more useful for His kingdom.
