Pride Makes Us Trust In Military Might

How many times have we thought things in our country would improve if we could just cast our vote for the right leaders. Often the American people have placed their trust in our military and political strength in the world to protect us and bring prosperity.

Now we are seeing that all the political and military strength available to us can be taken away in heart beat, AND.......we are doing it to ourselves by placing our confidence in something other than Christ.

Isaiah 31:1-3
The Folly of Not Trusting God

"31 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help,
And rely on horses,
Who trust in chariots because they are many,
And in horsemen because they are very strong,
But who do not look to the Holy One of Israel,
Nor seek the Lord!
2 Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster,
And will not call back His words,
But will arise against the house of evildoers,
And against the help of those who work iniquity.
3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not God;
And their horses are flesh, and not spirit.
When the Lord stretches out His hand,
Both he who helps will fall,
And he who is helped will fall down;
They all will perish together."

Our hope is not in government but in Christ alone. As believers our focus must be the gospel to the unbeliever and instruction for growth to the believer.

Happy Birthday To My Dearest Companion

Happy Birthday To My Dearest Companion

Today is my husband's birthday! He is 65 years of age. I am thankful for God's blessing to me, because of my husband. He has been my encourager when there was no one else. He has taken care of me in times of illness and protected us from many other things in this life.

God has given us many life experiences to grow and enrich our life together. I don't speak of great material wealth, even though God has taken care of our every need, but I speak of spiritual protection and increasing maturity.

I hope that today God will bless him in ways he did not expect!

The Old Me Has Passed Away By God's Hand

The Old Me Has Passed Away By God's Hand

I have yet to get an answer from those who say one can lose their salvation, for the verses in Ephesians 1:13-14

"Ephesians 1:13-14
"13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who[a] is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory."

Whenever I bring up these verses, those who believe you can lose your salvation refuse to address it. They stop the conversation or ignore the verses entirely.

I maintain that these verses are conclusive that we are sealed by Christ when He changes us into a new creation. We are not the same person and will never again go back to being the old man. God said the old is "PASSED AWAY."

Ready To Go!

 Ready To Go!!

I am reading an e-book called "The Out-of Church Christian", it is answering many of my questions about what is going on in my life and the lives of many other believers.

All over the world thousands and thousands of God's people are leaving the apostate church in favor of small house gatherings. They have become disheartened and disgusted with what is going on in the organized church and are fleeing.

Is it possible that God is preparing His people for the rapture? My husband and I thought that when the church is removed, those left behind will not notice that we were gone. There will be those who see individuals missing, but will not associate it with a sudden mass disappearance. Perhaps the massive apostate church will not see people disappearing because they will have already been gone to join house gatherings.

I think it is entirely possible that this mass exodus from the organized church may be an indication that true believer may be going home soon. God is first pulling us out of the buildings, programs and trappings of the apostate church to separate us from the goats, right before He takes us out.

All of us have the sense that this world is coming to an end and that true believers are separating themselves from the world which includes the apostate churches. We are not collaborating with one another, the Holy Spirit is working on the hearts of individuals and those individuals are finding one another, those who are doing the same thing.

The massive exodus is a few here and a few there, generally disdained by the leaders of the apostate church and shunned by those who attend them. They are labeled trouble makers and divisive, when their heart is more inclined toward their Savior than ever before and those who judge them wrongly are worldly and disinterested in pleasing the Lord.

They are a few here and a few there, but they are many world wide. Some of those who are fleeing this corrupt church system are former leaders of the churches they leave. The people who were under these leaders refused to hear sound doctrine as we are told would happen in the books of 1st and 2nd Timothy.

Brothers and Sisters, I believe that the time is very near for our home going, the signs are in place the prophesy is being fulfilled before our eyes and God is preparing His children for their home going.

May all who read this become excited about our future and all that is taking place in the world. It is almost over, the bride will be meeting it's groom.

What is in Store for Israel and All Believer in Christ

What is in Store for Israel and All Believer in Christ

So looking forward to this time, Hallelujah!!!!

Isaiah 28:16-18

"16 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed.

17 "I will make justice the measuring line And righteousness the level ; Then hail will sweep away the refuge of lies And the waters will overflow the secret place.

18 "Your covenant with death will be canceled, And your pact with Sheol will not stand ; When the overwhelming scourge passes through, Then you become its trampling place."

Strength We Never Had

Strength We Never Had

Never fear what may be coming, keep your eyes on Christ and know that He will give us what is needed at the time it is needed.

We will be astonished at the strength that comes, strength we never had. Christ will put is there as it is needed, not before.

Proverbs 3:5-6
"5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight."

With Humility Comes Wisdom

Is there anyone on facebook bold enough to say they believe they have all knowledge and wisdom apart from God and everyone else?

Is anyone above "rebuke", "correction", "chastisement", "discipline", "admonishment"?

Everyone of us has many things to learn and things to teach, it is best that we move through this life in humility and obedience.

The humble person is teachable the and will move forward in wisdom, the arrogant one is unteachable and regressive.

It is also best to surround ourselves with those who desire God's wisdom more than they wish to be elevated in the eyes of others.

Matthew 23:12 ""Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted."

James 4:10 "Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.'

1 Peter 5:6 "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,"

Philippians 2:3-11 "Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men."
