You Cannot Shed Your Blood for Salvation

There are no scriptures that say one can lose what they did not earn.

Ephesians 1:13-14
"13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory."

Christ saves us when we trust in Him, then He changes us into a new creation, all old things pass away and we become new. We are trapped in this body of flesh which is fallen but our spirit is changed into His Spirit.

If someone turns back from God then they were never born again, they merely made superficial professions without wanting to be changed by Christ, so God never changed them.

Christ's death on the cross would be ridiculous if we had to pay for any part of our salvation. We make the choice and He does all the work in our salvation, clear to the end of our life.

Ephesians 1:9-11 "…9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life. 11Therefore remember that formerly you who are Gentiles in the flesh and called uncircumcised by the so-called circumcision (that done in the body by human hands)—…"

Our deeds do not save us and they do not lose us our salvation.

Believers do sin, God wrote 1 John 1:9 to believers, He said that if we confess our SIN, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and save us from all unrighteousness.

As we confess He cleanses, Christians can be stubborn, losing rewards in this life and the next but they do not lose what He did in them.

1 Corinthians 3:14-16 "…14 If what he has built survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will be saved, but only as one being snatched from the fire. 16 Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?…"

The Holy Spirit does not hop in and out of people, we are sealed by Him until the Lord takes us home.

2 Corinthians 1:21-23 "…21 Now it is God who establishes both us and you in Christ. He anointed us, 22 placed His seal on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a pledge of what is to come. 23 I call God as my witness that it was in order to spare you that I did not return to Corinth.…"

Ephesians 4:30-31 " 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice.…"

Believers can grieve the Holy Spirit that lives in them but He never leaves them. He will discipline His children as needed. Discipline is for those who are disobedient.

Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, or lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises everyone He receives as a son.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"

No one gets to heaven or keeps their salvation by doing it all right! God knew they could not do right that's why He paid the bloody price for us, we could never pay the bloody price because it took the shedding of blood of the perfect lamb, that is Jesus Christ.

Confess to be Blessed

God does not forgive those who do not confess sin and will not bless prayers until sin is dealt with.

Ordained by Man or Led by Christ?

God told us to seek Him for wisdom, through His Word, prayer and direction from the Holy Spirit, we can know the truth.

So many people merely believe what their pastors tell them, not realizing that even having a one man pastor is not Biblical. That's the first way that "Pastor" who is suppose to know so much, is violating the word of God.

The description of the first century church was one in which there was a plurality of leadership, no one was given a title, nor were they considered the "expert", it was Christ Who is pre-eminent.

When a pastor is ordained by man, he and those who ordain him are violating Scripture. Men of God are called by God and those in the gathering recognize the gift of teaching, there is no formal education or ordination of men that makes a man a teacher or preacher.

Those who "ordain" and those who have been "ordained" by men are in violation of the Word of God, following traditions of men rather than Christ.

Most of the time "Pastors" who have been to formal schooling for the purpose of the ministry, are indoctrinated by the institution they attend to believe whatever they are taught. There is a mentality of higher education being superior to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. These men are no longer seeking Christ, they are going to their denominational books, preachers and seminary profs for their enlightenment.

It has been my experience that most "Pastors" are so full of themselves that they will not listen to someone who corrects them. They do not go to prayer to confirm by the Holy Spirit if they are right or wrong, the simply dismiss the one who challenges them as ignorant or not worthy of their attention.

Proverbs 11:2
"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom."

The churches of today are apostate for the most part, filled with arrogant people who believe they are superior to those in the pews. There may be some very godly men who have walked with God full of wisdom in the pews who are never allowed to preach or teach because they don't have that certificate of acceptance by a seminary or the special letters behind their name to lift them above others.

Some of the wisest and godliest men I have known never attended a formal training in a Bible school or seminary, but they had many gifts that were not recognized because they lacked that human degree. These men were taught by the Holy Spirit through many years of Scripture reading, prayer and life examples that brought the Scripture to life for them.

1 Timothy 3:6 " 6He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same condemnation as the devil. "

Many men in the pulpits today have not yet finished raising their families, they do not have the total life experience that an older wiser man can have. They are novices in life and novices in the Word, but are given authority positions in the man made human tradition of hierarchy in the church. This should not be, it violates the Word on so many levels it would take a book to show it's unBiblical standards.

Impregnated by the Spirit

O.K., one more time concerning the Nephilim debate, let's consider the implications of believing that a spirit being impregnated a human woman.

When was the first and only time this happened? Mary the of mother of Jesus was the first and only woman ever impregnated by a Spirit father, that was the Father in heaven for the purpose of bringing our Savior into the world as the Sacrifice for our sins.

Could it be that the devil wanted to remove the spot light from the glory of the incarnate Holy Christ, by claiming that it has been done before my devils into human women.

The devil has always been an imitator, he is the ultimate narcissist, he must remove the glory of God by pretending to do the same things as God.

He is not capable of the same miracles of God, but will use counterfeit miracles, false miracles to bring the glory away from God, to mock and demean Him.

It is my contention that this is exactly what the devil has done in these last day, bring back the work of a devilish writer to take the spot light off of the glory of God, by giving the glory to demons. Sadly so many people are falling into this deception without blinking any eye.

Perhaps pride prevents rational thinking that exposes evil. I remember the story called "The Emperors New Clothes." The Emperor had no clothes on as he marched through the streets, but the people were told he had new clothes on and they must praise him for his new clothes, so guess what, all the people praised him for his new clothes except one innocent little girl who declared loudly, "he doesn't have any clothes."

Isn't this what is happening all over this country, preachers in the pulpit are proclaiming things that are not true but the people are buying them, hook, line and sinker because they want to be accepted and feel special.

It doesn't take much to refute many of the false teachings, a little Bible research, the Holy Spirit and a heart that desires truth, is all that is required to expose these foolish notions loved and accepted by those who are too lazy to pray, read and think!

Remember the story and the emperor who had no clothes, ask yourself if you are relying on the ideas of others rather than Christ for your teaching.

I listen to lots of people and read lots of books, however I question all that is said and prove it by the Word of God. If I am challenged about something I have not heard before, I go to prayer and the Word, as we all should, to see if what I have heard squares with the Word of God, the Bible.

Let's not be lazy believers accepting whatever new thing is popular, or whatever educated people tell us, instead let's be Bereans who searched the Word daily to see if the things Paul was telling them were true. No one, no matter how educated has so much authority or clout in our lives that we simply follow them believing every thing they say. We follow Christ not men, we follow Christ not the writings of men.

Acts 17:11-12 "11 Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true. 12 As a result, many of them believed, along with quite a few prominent Greek women and men.…"

Did You Just Join the Club?

I really think there are many Christians who decided to "join the club", but there was never any brokenness over their sinfulness or a desire to be changed by Christ.

There are many who are trying to fit into the club by looking good on the outside but the inside remains as sinful as it ever was. God never changed them because they never wanted to be changed by God. They still hold onto their own will their own way.

There cannot be excessive pride when we know how sinful we were, not that we necessarily did the "big stuff", but that even if we lived a decent life, but have not trusted Christ, still working to be good in your own merit, then you were never born again.

There are many church goers today who need to be broken over their sinfulness and ask to be changed into a new creation by Christ. The churches today are full of those who "joined the club" but do not enjoy fellowship with Christ!

Think about it!

The Nephilim in Diapers

How about we look at some logic, using the brain God gave us to think this Nephilim thing through. Here goes!

Let's see, I am a 5'2" woman, let's say that is sort of a tall women in the time of Enoch. But we'll start with that for now.

Most babies born are about 30% of the mother's height. A normal baby is about 20 inches in length.

So 30% of a 450 foot tall person is about 145 feet tall. Hmmm, seems a little strange that a 5'2" woman could give birth to a baby that is 145 feet tall.

Yep, that's what the "Nephilim people" would have you to believe. That an demon impregnated a normal human woman and produce a baby that is 145 feet tall. Ouch. Imagine the labor not to mention the birth.

This is just how absurd this teaching is!!! How about nursing that baby, again...ouch! Then there are those blood curdling screams in the middle of the night when that little....um...big guy gets hungry. How could a woman of this stature actually produce enough mothers milk to feed him. Yikes!

O.K. Whoa those diapers!

Yep, burping that monster would be impossible and the throwing up all over your cloths must have been a tsunami.

Just sayinnnn!!!!!!

450 Foot Tall Giants, Really?

The book of Enoch that proclaims the giants in the land created by spirit devils called "sons of God, mating with the "daughters of men", created 450 foot tall men, is as silly and foolish as it gets.

Spirits cannot, and I repeat, they cannot mate with human beings.

My question is this; why does this ridiculous book choose to proclaim that spirit beings mating with humans would produce giants that tall? Why would it not say they were "spirit beings" that no one could see or tiny little spirit babies, why giants?

This nonsense is classic scripture twisting and cherry picking to make something sound exciting but in reality it is sheer blasphemy.

My next question is "why do we care so much about things like this"? Perhaps it is because truth is not exciting enough for those who love "new revelation", they must make things more exciting and mystical to enjoy it. There again many love a fantasy world of make believe, they cannot enjoy the deep truths of the Lord as they are, they must have something more than what God said.

Personally I find the Word of God exciting enough, it needs no embellishing or secret things to keep me interested. And, so it is true for those who love Christ and walk in His Spirit.

James 1:5
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."

Proverbs 9:10
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight."

Bottom line: seek the Holy Spirit in prayer and use the Bible, that will be all you need. If you want to read something else then filter everything in that other book through the principles of Scripture, not the other way around.

The Bible is our standard, if another book says something differently then that book should be thrown out, not the twisting of Scripture to fit that book.
