Are you Educated and Ordained by Man or are you Called by Christ? One cannot be both!

No place in the scriptures do we have a command from God to be educated by men for ministry. However, we do have a command to seek the Holy Spirit and be taught by HIm.
John 16:12-14 "…12I still have much to tell you, but you cannot yet bear to hear it. 13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.…"
We know when the Holy Spirit is speaking through someone, it is Christ they glorify and not self.
When people elevate men as special and the ones to seek for truth they are glorifying man instead of God.
We ought to feel great joy when we share with one another things from the teachings of the Holy Spirit, but no man who speaks the things of God is elevated above anyone else, it is Christ Who is lifted High!!!!

Be Discerning and Demand Proof

"Be careful what you believe when you hear gossip, you may be hearing it from the problem."
If you know who the flying monkeys are, that is those who listen to the lies of the narcissist, you can remove them from your lives as well as removing the narcissist.
Proverbs 10
1 A wise son makes a father glad,
But a foolish son is a grief to his mother.
2 Ill-gotten gains do not benefit,
But righteousness rescues from death.
3 The Lord will not allow the righteous to hunger,
But He will reject the craving of the wicked.
4 Poor is one who works with a lazy hand,
But the hand of the diligent makes rich.
5 He who gathers in summer is a son who acts wisely,
But he who sleeps in harvest is a son who acts shamefully.
6 Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
7 The mentioning of the righteous is a blessing,
But the name of the wicked will rot.
8 The wise of heart will receive commands,
But a babbling fool will come to ruin.
9 One who walks in integrity walks securely,
But one who perverts his ways will be found out.
10 He who winks the eye causes trouble,
And a babbling fool will come to ruin.
11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,
But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
12 Hatred stirs up strife,
But love covers all offenses.
13 On the lips of the discerning, wisdom is found,
But a rod is for the back of him who has no [g]sense.
14 Wise people store up knowledge,
But with the mouth of the foolish, ruin is at hand.
15 The rich person’s wealth is his fortress,
The ruin of the poor is their poverty.
16 The wages of the righteous is life,
The income of the wicked, punishment.
17 One who is on the path of life follows instruction,
But one who ignores a rebuke goes astray.
18 One who conceals hatred has lying lips,
And one who spreads slander is a fool.
19 When there are many words, wrongdoing is unavoidable,
But one who restrains his lips is wise.
20 The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver,
The heart of the wicked is worth little.
21 The lips of the righteous feed many,
But fools die for lack of understanding.
22 It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich,
And He adds no sorrow to it.
23 Doing wickedness is like sport to a fool,
And so is wisdom to a person of understanding.
24 What the wicked fears will come upon him,
But the desire of the righteous will be granted.
25 When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more,
But the righteous has an everlasting foundation.
26 Like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes,
So is the lazy one to those who send him.
27 The fear of the Lord prolongs life,
But the years of the wicked will be shortened.
28 The hope of the righteous is gladness,
But the expectation of the wicked perishes.
29 The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the upright,
But ruin to the workers of injustice.
30 The righteous will never be shaken,
But the wicked will not live in the land.
31 The mouth of the righteous flows with wisdom,
But the perverted tongue will be cut out.
32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable,
But the mouth of the wicked, what is perverted."

When a Church Attendee Mocks the Holy Spirit

I grieved and grieved and remained shocked when I admonished a "Christian" that we should be seeking the Holy Spirit and He repeated the title; "holy Spirit" and laughed at me, mocking that I would use the excuse that we should depend on the Holy Spirit, as though something was strange and foolish about that.
This was my first clue that this person who had been attending churches all his life didn't know what it was like to trust in the Holy Spirit and even saw it as a foolish thing.
Trusting Christ and relying on His Holy Spirit is basic Christianity. This same mocker proclaimed loudly that "someone is not a liar just because they tell one lie."
I explained to this long-time churchgoer that a person couldn't even tell one lie if they were not already a liar. We battle our flesh all the time because it is not holy, only Christ in us is holy and we must continually fight the battle of our flesh to walk uprightly.
It is not possible for a born-again believer who has the Holy Spirit living in him to mock the Holy Spirit.
We know that we fall into temptations at times as believers because God told us to "congress our sins to be cleansed of them. 1 John 1:9 "if you confess your sin He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." If we didn't have to battle sin anymore there would be no need to confess. And, He also said; "when you sin you have an advocate with the Father"
1 John 2:1, "My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;"
If we sin God disciplines us Hebrews 12:5-7 "…5 And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you. 6 For the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastises every son He receives.” 7 Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?…"
It does come automatically for a born-again believer to hate sin the very reason we do resist doing what our heart and the devil tempt us to do. The more we resist and confess when we fail the less we will live according to our flesh.
Galatians 5:17-25
"17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law."
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."
When we live by the Spirit of Christ Who dwells in us we will not carry out the fleshly temptations.
My prayer is that those who are pretenders would see that they are not saved and decide to repent and allow Christ to change them into a new creation.

For Those Who Say; "I Did it My Way."

Frank Sinatra sang a song that many people in America loved and wanted to adopt as their life style. The song was "I did it my way."
What an incredible indictment on the culture that we pride ourselves in "doing life our own way" even becoming angry at those who might suggest that no one will make it to heaven by their own will and their own way.
Many "Christians" today would claim we should "do things
God's way" but they do not do as they say. They chose from the Bible the things they like and ignore the things that they don't like.
Matthew 23:2-4 "…2“The scribes and Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3 So practice and observe everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4 They tie up heavy, burdensome loads and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.…"
In other words God is telling us to obey God not the leaders who do not obey God's Word.
To ignore any part of God's Word is to ignore Christ. Christ is the very essence of His Own Word. Jesus Christ is called the Word and He is God.
God the Father calls Jesus Christ "God."
Hebrews 1:7-8
7 And regarding the angels He says,
“He makes His angels winds,
And His ministers a flame of fire.”
8 But regarding the Son He says,
“Your throne, God, is forever and ever,
And the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of [a]His kingdom."
Anyone who denies the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as being God in three distinct Persons is ignoring God's Word.
Anyone who prides themselves in doing life their own way will not be saved at their death. They will not be able to get before the Lord on Judgment day and say; "but Lord I did it my way."
Matthew 7:21-23 "21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"
Many people who attend churches will not be saved, they have pretended to love God but in practice they treated Him with great disresepct and even loathing. And, they treated those who belong to Him disrespectfully and without kindness and love.
God said, "you shall know them by their fruit", this fruit is the character of Christ Who lives in those who love Him.
Galatians 5:22-23
"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

The Rageful Bent of the Narcissist!

Narcissists easily rage because they are always angry on the inside. Their heart is full of rage waiting to emerge at the slightest challenge to their flawed character.
Any suggestion that you disagree with them or don't care to do what they do is met with this rage, an intimidation tactic to control those who they are unable to control.
Narcissists hate anyone they cannot impress or control through manipulation and intimidation.
We need not be angry with these kinds of people even though it is best to avoid them. We can, however, I feel sorry for them that they are in bondage to the ploys of the devil, unable to free themselves from it.
The only way to be freed from the narcissistic rage and disquieted spirit is to confess the sin of selfishness and desire to be changed by Christ.
Salvation in Christ is the only answer to the problem of narcissism for the individual who is in bondage to it.
Romans 6:22
"22 But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life."
Sanctification is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in our lives to become more holy. We are not sinless as believers but we do sin less as we move through life with the Holy Spirit.
