In these last days, apostates will attempt to intimidate believers into silence, pay them no mind, they are insignificant.
Rejecting the cultural Christianity I grew up with to embrace and enjoy a relationship with Jesus Christ. A place to come and share thoughts about almost anything. Especially things of the Lord. Please no Anonymous posts, I enjoy knowing who is writing to me.

The Solution is Christ!
For several years now Christians thought the best solution for our country would be a leader who would make them feel safe, clean up the "swamp" and return the country to well-being based on physical and material elements.
When Trump ran for office I heard many Christians promoting him, backing him, and proclaiming that he was a Christian on the side of the church. And, I must add, I voted for him to, admittedly based on his promises to do some good things, but I had no dilution that he was going to do anything great for the spiritual mess this country lives in every day.
The Lord gave me a check in my spirit that this mentality of the salvation of the United States was not only a wrong focus but a worldly one.
Trump is not a "reprieve" from evil, he is one more cog in the wheel of the antichrist system. He is promoting things that seem much better than what we had and will have some positive effects, however, everything he is promoting, even though it looks good, is another step in the direction of the antichrist rule. He doesn't know it but he is doing things that will ultimately end up allowing the antichrist to rule the world from Jerusalem.
Trump is backing a "Stargate" system that will place satellites all over the world with the capability of monitoring everything about every human on the planet. He has rejected the World Health Organization, which is a good thing, but in its place will be a worse invader of human privacy.
There is an ancient proverb that says; "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." The World Health Organization has been villainized and rightly so, however, the thing that is supposed to replace it will be capable of far worse than the entity we thought was far too invasive.
Trump is supporting Israel but he is not a Christian, he is playing a role right now for the sake of winning Christians and may even believe he is one, but his thrust is not about evangelism, it is about a better culture including all religions as he sees goodness and righteousness. He has hitched his wagon to the Pentecostal movement which placed prosperity above righteousness and is inclusive of all pagan religions.
We have not had a "pause" in evil in our country with a new president, we have one who is fast-tracking the road to the antichrist even if he doesn't know it.
Those who believe Trump and Netanyahu are Christians will be those who will be fooled by the antichrist when he emerges and claims to be the Christ.
The focus of American Christians has not been on Christ but on their own personal comfort and because of this they have been lulled into a false sense of safety that will lead to the culmination of the antichrist system.
I find it interesting that our culture likes to pretend the things they want are happening, based solely on their own good feelings. Pretending is a huge part of this fantasy culture.
The idea that we were "delaying the decay" of America by electing a new leader, or that we can somehow delay the antichrist rule is not only unbiblical but seriously lacking in faith. Nowhere in Scripture does God tell believers to do anything to stop the last day's tribulation events or the antichrist.
Our faith ought never to be in a leader of any kind. As born-again believers our faith is in Jesus Christ, therefore we read His word to believe Him and we are able to discern the movement toward the end times events.
Our focus in these last days ought to be to preach the gospel to the lost and edify the saints as they endure the evils of the times in which we live.
Those who measure "Christianity" in someone by what they "say" are making a huge mistake based on "feelings" without rational thinking.
God said, "you shall know them by their fruit." This fruit is Spiritual and in every born-again believer. It is not about what someone tells us, it is about the Spirit of Christ Who lives in them. Only those who are born-again can discern another believer who has the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23
"22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
1 John 4:1
"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world."
Those who rely on appearances and words will be deceived. They will evaluate everything according to their desired feelings and not on the truth.
We should not be looking for "revival" in this country, which says that something was lost and comes back again. We are looking for the transformation of lost souls who were never born again and are changed into new creations by Christ. We should be motivated to speak even more about Christ and His principles than ever before because the time is short before the church is taken out and the tribulation becomes full-blown.
One way we have of discerning truth tellers from pretenders is whether or not they love the Word and follow it or if they say they love the Word and fight against the truth when confronted with it.
Pretenders will always pick and choose passages based on their desired beliefs but born-again believers will seek the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures to obey what God tells them.
Placing our trust in any man or leader is foolishness, because we know no man can have a better answer or greater wisdom than the Holy Spirit of Christ.
Many "churches" today are interpreting their Bible in terms of the cultural bents and not in terms of what God actually said. This causes fighting among the Christians, between those who want to obey the Scriptures and those who love their culture more than they love God.
God said in John 14:15; "15If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."
Seems very simple but there are many who will claim they obey Him but they do not.
The closer we become to the rapture of the church and the tribulation the more "Christians" we will meet who hate those who follow Christ authentically. These haters will claim we are the evil ones for expecting Christians to obey the Word of God.
The haters will send their flying monkeys to torment us hoping to diminish our influence and make us doubt our resolve to follow Christ. They are so shallow they think being rude and mean to us will cause us to be timid, but the opposite is true, we learn to become stronger and less affected by the haters, they do not matter, only obedience to Christ matters to those who love Him.
Praise God that the attempts of the devil to diminish our walk are thwarted by the One Who is more powerful than he, that is Jesus Christ.
Hallelujah!!!!

Fools or the Wise Which are You
Wisdom isn't just about knowing facts or sounding smart. Wisdom is not attainable except through seeking God and continual self-reflection anyone of any IQ can be Scripturally wise.
Stupidity is the enemy of our soul. It makes bad things look good and good things look bad as we are seeing commonly in these end times days.
Wisdom is not a matter of good education it is a mindset that seeks the truth and loves the things of the Lord.
It is impossible for a person to learn when they think they already know everything.
Proverbs 29:9-10 "9 If a wise man goes to court with a fool, there will be raving and laughing with no resolution. 10 Men of bloodshed hate a blameless man, but the upright care for his life.…"
Signs of a foolish person:
The foolish person refuses to listen or learn, when they are corrected they reject the correction as though it is stupid and continue operating from the error.
They dismiss ideas merely because those ideas came from someone they don't like, usually someone who seeks wisdom.
Fools cannot learn because they are too proud to admit they are not superior to others. The truth is not concerning to the fool, they only care about being seen as superior, even if it means embracing lies. They must appear expert at everything to feel validated, this is the irony, they are weak because they cannot admit their flaws when admitting them would cause strength in their character and progress them in life.
Fools stubbornly cling to ignorance to protect their fragile image of faux self-exaltation.
Fools are easily offended often without provocation because they take everything as a personal attack. Even our accomplishments irritate them because it is not about them.
Fools react to criticism with outrage, instead of evaluating to improve they rage to intimidate into silence the very people who could help them improve.
I have seen a young person roll their eyes at being corrected about the pronuciation of a word because they hated to admit they didn't know something. Then to make it worse they continued their wrong pronuciation in defiance.
Anger is mankind's greatest weakness, it resolves nothing and causes relationship destruction. Fools even demolish opportunities to build relationships because of their immense pride. They mock and demean anyone they can't feel superior to and who they cannot dominate.
Fools take everything personally, the slightest innocent comments are seen as personal attacks when they are not even about them.
Wise people understand that criticism can be a tool for growth when it is rooted in God's truth.
Fools chase pleasure above everything else. Everything must bring them happiness even if at the expense of others. Their good works are done only to appear good to others, and they cannot do a good deed unless others notice.
Fools are impulsive without restraint ready to manipulate and intimidate others to get what they want for themselves.
Fools are not grateful, they continually demean those who have done much for them merely because they didn't do it all to elevate the fool.
Fools are continually seeking the next adventure, they can never find joy in normal everyday living and they must boast about everything they do or they feel empty when their feats go unnoticed by others.
Fools blame others for the emptiness they feel inside when they are not being elevated as special and superior. When a relationship fails because of the lack of love and empathy in the fool, they blame others, nothing is ever their fault and yet they are continually blowing up relationships forcing them to look for new sources of supply for their addiction to attention and their own idea of superiority.
Wise people take responsibility for themselves while fools accuse others for their own pratfalls. This mindset keeps them stuck in failure and continual resentment toward others. These fools suck all the joy and peace out of the room when they walk in, there is relief and the return of peace when they walk out.
Fools always talk more than they think, the input of others is not necessary to them, it is an irritant to their need to be the center of attention.
Fools love the sound of their own voice. They throw out opinions based on how they wish to think without any information except what they desire to believe.
Wise people speak with purpose and truth while the fool gets a high from merely holding the floor as long as they can while others agonize over the lack of depth coming from their mouths, constant noise with no substance.
Fools cling to what is familiar even when it is harmful. They will retain ideas against God's Word just because everyone else likes the idea. These people do not think independently of "group think" and are wrong often because of it.
Fools are paralyzed by fear of rejection so they tend to follow whatever the crowd is saying. They are terrified of being alone because they do not think for themselves, they must have someone telling them what to think and it must align with their immense ego.
The way to wisdom is knowing our own flaws, admitting them and resolving to ask God to change our hearts to be in alignment with His truth.
Wise people are not afraid of their flaws, they admit them and seek to repair them with God's Word.
Proverbs 1:5-7
"A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; And a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels".
Fools do not seek counsel to hear solutions they seek counsel that will say what they want to hear and reject any counsel that will correct their false thinking. This is the reason our modern churches are filled with people who love to feel good about themselves but have little interest in God's Wisdom.
2 Timothy 4:3
"3 For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires,"
The greatest blessing and strength of born-again believers is the ability to look with honesty at their own development, admit what is needed to improve, and move forward beyond mere words. It is the power of Christ Who brings about authentic change. Mere words to impress others stagnate and regress those who have no intention of growing in holiness.
Hebrews 12:14: "Pursue holiness, without which no one will see the Lord"
Romans 12:1: "Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God"

Our Actions and Words Match Our Hearts
Our hearts cannot be different from our decisions and actions. Good people act righteously as a lifestyle, if they fail they confess to be cleansed.
There is no such thing as a person who makes bad decisions being a "good person."
Good people say and make good decisions and bad people do and say bad things.
1 John 1:9
"9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Notice the word "if" in this passage, we cannot become better if we do not confess. Just trying not to do the bad things again will not produce a heart that has been cleansed. WHY?
Because trying in our own effort presumes that we have within ourselves the ability to be better without God's help. We can only be cleansed from the sin permanently by the power of the Holy Spirit. It must be a work of God to cleanse our heart.
Ephesians 2:9-10 "…9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life."
When our heart is cleansed the desire to sin is removed. We hate the sin so much that we do not repeat it.
My concern is that too many people do not confess sin, do not grow in holiness and develop a mentality of excuses for bad attitudes and behavior. It does not take many times of excusing sin to create a hardness of heart that is unable to repent and no longer has the ability to understand right from wrong.
Hebrews 3:7-8 "7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you hear His voice, 8 do not harden your hearts, as you did in the rebellion, in the day of testing in the wilderness,"
I am convinced that someone who develops a hard heart cannot be saved. The Holy Spirit would not allow someone who has been changed by Christ to be comfortable in their sin no matter how small that sin seems.
Romans 2:3-5 "…3 So when you, O man, pass judgment on others, yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4 Or do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance? 5 But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.…"
If we love Christ and others we will encourage confession of sin to be cleansed.
