Choose Your Friends Wisely

It is important to distance ourselves from those who would work to diminish our walk with Christ, whether these people are family, friends or even church members.

1 Corinthians 15:33
"33 Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

When we hangout with those who don't love Christ, over time they will subtly influence us to withhold truth, remain silent to stay friends, as well as at times even begin to deny truth to stay connected to them.

Those who have ungodly friends who enjoy them, are probably compromising their walk, using the excuse of witnessing, but interestingly they almost never do. We know this because unbelievers hate God's truth and will soon removed themselves from us when we are bold.

1 Timothy 1:14
"And the grace of our Lord overflowed to me, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus."

Titus 2:15
"Speak these things as you encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one have a reason to despise you."
