Christ is One with Us and We are One with our Spouse in Marriage           

If we realized that we have become one with Christ and can never be separated from Him as born again believers, then we might better understand the oneness in marriage with our spouse, a union that cannot be separated until death.

Marriage is a picture of our relationships with Christ. If we think that we can severe the relationship with Christ, then it follows that we might think we can severe our relationship with a spouse.
