Superficial Christians Hate Truth

God's people all over the world are being attacked in one way or another and in varying degrees.

Taking the side of truth often turns superficial Christians and non-believers against those who love the truth, living it and speaking it is an offense to most.

Most people do not understand nor do they want to understand truth, they are satisfied with feeling safe and elevated in status, but not with dedication to God's principles.

Any challenge to prove their assertions with Scripture is often met with anger and rage, since they don't know why they believe what they do, but choose to hang onto it because it is comfortable.

God said in His Word:
Matthew 10:33-35
"33 But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven. 34 Do not assume that I have come to bring peace (unity) to the earth; I have not come to bring peace (unity), but a sword (war). 35 For I have come to turn ‘A man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.…"

To fight against truth by twisting scripture or bludgeoning truth tellers, is the same as denying Christ.

Notice that the words used in the Bible have a much stronger meaning in the original languages than we read in our English Bibles. In the Complete Jewish Bible, when Christ said "Do not assume I have come to bring "peace", the true rendering should be; "I have not come to bring "unity." It is very different than what we have been taught. Another example of our modern translations lacking accuracy is; "but the sword", meaning "war." God did not come to bring unity but did bring war.

Our modern Christianity preaches unity, almost at any cost. I was once told by a missionary woman that we need to compromise the gospel for the sake of unity, the opposite of what God says. We should never sacrifice the gospel for unity, but because of the gospel and because of truth there will be disunity and an all out war against the believer and against truth.

Those who bring chaos and division are those who preach a false gospel and worldly principles that defy the Bible and come against God's truth.

Those who will be the first to attack the believer is usually family.

Mark 6:4-5 "4 Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is without honor only in his hometown, among his relatives, and in his own household.” 5 So He could not perform any miracles there, except to lay His hands on a few of the sick and heal them.…"

Notice in Mark 6 that Christ was rejected by His kinsmen, those in His family, the Jews. Notice too that He could perform no miracles in that area because of their unbelief.

God has given this country and most families over to their twisted and false teaching because they will not listen to reason when it comes to truth.

Our modern Christianity has no power because it is mixed with psychology, teachings of men that have no power over sin or addiction to self love.

In the false teachings we have managed to silence those who have been gifted by the Holy Spirit to bring truth, in favor of those who tickle the ears.

2 Timothy 4:2-4 "…2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4 So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."

Not only will people not listen to truth, they will heap up for themselves friends, family and church leaders who have been trained in the false way, dedicated to this false way, so much so that their minds can no longer wrap around truth.
