The devil will attempt to prove to people that Christ, "didn't really say that" or that He "didn't really mean that."
Another favorite tactic of the devil is to accuse the brethren falsely. He will use the unsaved to do this, while discrediting our walk with Christ, without cause.
If you are not being attacked in one form or another, it is possible you are not saved.
Proverbs 14:2
"He who walks in his uprightness fears the LORD, But he who is devious in his ways despises Him."
Habakkuk 2:4
"Behold, as for the proud one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous will live by his faith."
The times we are living in are described in Michah: This is a generality, however, we can see this happening in our nation today.
There is bloodshed in the hearts of those who wish to silence believers, mocking and demeaning them in order to have control over them. Someone does not have to murder to have a murderous heart.
Micah 7:2
"The godly person has perished from the land, And there is no upright person among men All of them lie in wait for bloodshed; Each of them hunts the other with a net."
