The Hatred of Envy

Envy leads to "Schadenfreude"

Envy is a form of hatred! Its a sin to be angry at the accomplishments of others. Envy is far more hostile that most realize.

"Schadenfreude" The condition in a person's mind that experiences joy at someone else's misfortune!
Loves to berate others.

"Etymology. Schadenfreude is borrowed from German; it is a compound of Schaden, "damage, harm", and Freude, "joy". The German word was first mentioned in English texts in 1852 and 1867, and first used in English running text in 1895. In German, it was first attested in the 1740s." Wikipedia

On way of berating others is to attempt to deny them the joy of their accomplishments. Also another way is to act disinterested in their accomplishments as though they don't deserve to have any. We might add to this list the act of ignoring the person entirely to show them their insignificance. All these things are born out of the attitude that hates to see someone they hate succeed.

If you have experienced this with family members you know how mean it is and the sense that one must flee to feel whole again.

Jesus Christ loves us even when others do not, nothing others do or refuse to do will change how  much He loves us.

Jeremich 31: 3 The LORD appeared to him from afar: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving devotion. 4 Again I will build you, and you will be rebuilt, O Virgin Israel. Again you will take up your tambourines and go out in joyful dancing."

Next time you are tempted to take the narcissist seriously, don't!!!!
